Delphi Corp. filed a complaint against hedge fund Appaloosa Management LP and related investors for alleged breach of contract and fraud. The Troy, Mich., auto parts maker claims Appaloosa refused to honor an equity financing commitment of up to $2.55 billion that would have helped Delphi emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy. An Appaloosa spokesman wasn't immediately available for comment. Delphi, which filed the legal action in New York bankruptcy court, said the plan investors received over $60 million in fees for their commitments.
