The Daily Show delivered a stinging sendup of Cubs fans Tuesday night. In a segment on the disproportionate impact of "Stupid Voters" on the presidential election, John Oliver included Cubs fans among the group, alongside "People Who Lose Arguments to Babies," "Tiger Petters," and the "Voluntarily Lobotomized." Cubs fans, Oliver said, "had 100 years to figure out that what they want will never happen and yet they still yearn for it." Jon Stewart: "That is stupid." Oliver: "Yes, very stupid." I was just watching the Daily Show and they had a segment on “the stupid voters” with a pie chart separating them out. After segments of the pie chart such as “dimwits” and “shaved gorillas” the final group was “cubs fans" Then the reporter and John Stewart go on to talk about how stupid Cubs fans are for being Cubs fans etc. I usually just read the posts, but I decided to actually create a fanpost about this. ...
