I love the Legend of Drizzt Collector's Edition book 1 and 2. Each of them holding the first and second triology. Does anybody know if the third Collector's Edition book (available Jan 2009) will hold the complete 4 books of the Legecy of the Drow series or only the first three (of the four) books? If you’ve already put in a pre-order for the Collector’s Edition of Fable II and were anxiously awaiting the day when you could have a Hobbe figure of your own, then you’re going to be in for a disappointment. Due to a “supply chain issue,” the Fable II Limited Collector’s Edition will unfortunately ship without the Hobbe figure, the five “Fate” cards, or the premium box (according to Kotaku ). To make up for the lost extras though, Lionhead Studios has dropped the price of this Edition from $80 to $70. So you’ll still be left with the “Making of” DVD, plus bonus in-game content like “The Hall of the Dead” dungeon, “The Wreckager” Legendary Cutlass Weapon, and the Spartan armor. Fable 2 fans hoping to snag the game's bountiful Collector's Edition are in for a shock: The bonus content in the CE has been "gutted." Owing to "supply chain issues," Lionhead has revealed that the Collector's Edition will no longer include the "Hobbes" figurine, the five printed fate cards or the premium box. Still included is the bonus disc with the "Making of Fable 2 " materials and the bonus in-game content. It's not all bad news though, as dumping the extras has dropped the price of the CE to $70 (from its original $80). As if to make amends, Lionhead will be offering the fate cards as a downloadable .pdf file. The company is also releasing a "special Fable album" comprised of musical selections from the entire series. That album will be available October 6, and will be free of charge.
