Mr. Small’s Theater is an old church that’s been converted into a music venue, which is awesome since seeing Chiodos is basically, for me, like getting all hand-waving and tongue-speaking at a church service. Okay, so here's a nice little concert schedule for my Live Nation stuff. Damn, I'm starting to love doing this stuff. Oct.4-Children of Bodom w/ Between The Buried And Me, Black Dahlia Murder Oct.10-Chiodos Oct.11-Maylene and the Sons of Disaster Oct.24-Danzig w/Dimmu Borgir, Moonspell, Winds of Plague, Skeletonwitch Novv.1-Norma Jean Hopefully, work will let me throw another one or two into the mix there, time notwithstanding. Now, onto the point of this profanely titled blog. During my hiatus, I was turned onto a documentary series called Penn and Teller's Bullshit! In it, the magician team goes on a political rampage each episode debunking a ton of different stuff from gun control to prostitution. Hell, they even call bullshit on Mother Theresa! I believe what attracted me to the series was my own personal opinions on a ton of hot topics. I'm a big supporter of a person's right to bear arms, which is a very conservative standpoint, but I'm also for the legalization of marijuana, which is way liberal. Ther series has shows on both topics that really give each a strong case. I guess these viewpoints kind of give me a liberitarian standpoint, but a true liberitarian is against the idea of private property, which is quite ridiculous in my opinion. And now, here a little sample of the show, courtesy the magic of Youtube.  Penn and Teller take a seal bat to the head of PETA, done in three parts thanks to Youtube's 10 minute restrictions ...

First, catch up on responces. Glassadam: That ain't nothing. The second placeholder should of had you thinking it was a Anthony Michael Hall documentary. Genres: Dahlia was kind of a last minute throw-on. Some other band probably dropped off and they just happened to be doing nothing. So it worked out for everyone. With Chiodos, I caught a quick little bit of them at Warped, and I liked what I heard I just made a mental note to catch them again, and this is my chance. I've seen that Guitar World, but it's always Kirk. No respect for James in Michigan, I guess. And I wouldn't be too quick to  give props to The Nuge. He said some pretty shitty things about Dimebag a little while ago. Sturby: If it makes you feel better, I'm not really getting paid. It's mainly volunteer work, with free admission into shows as the payment. Still, that's a pretty good deal. I hear what you're saying about Buillshit. Penn and Teller flat out admitted to being biased, so you know what the viewpoint is usually going to be. There's some things I don't agree with them on, like death penalty and bashing Ghandi. Fumes: What? You? Weed? Since when? And on to a few tidbits. Tack another show on for the 13th for The Bronx. They're a damn fine rock band with some metal leanings. Have a peek at one of their vids, History's Strangers.   Those heads.... Just so fucking creepy. Another addiction I've been cultivating si for the website Cracked. Their big think is daily ...
