Regarding the Turlock School District sending letters home letting parents know that, with parental approval, students could attend Bible classes at a local church: The letter writer should be happy that the schools sent the notice giving parents the right to decide if their children would attend the classes. Several school districts in the valley didn't give parents that choice when they mandated the teaching of the Muslim religion in the classrooms during regular hours, no choice given!
