Hi All, Hope someone could help? I`ve got a problem configuring a CISCO 837 with Easy VPN. Currently we have a 2003 SBS server with 2 x Nic's in. 1 with IP 192.168.1.10 which is the subnet all out clients are one and the other nic is 192.168.10.2. 10.2 is the inet interface and plugs into a router with ip of 192.168.10.1 We want to get rid of the exsisting router and put our CISCO 837 in there with VPN access. Currently all traffic can go out from all 192.168.1.xxx machines. Mail and Internet etc works. A quick little background. We have 2 Catalyst 3560G's that have our workstations and servers on them. These Catalysts are linked together by a fiber cable. On the second Catalyst it is connected to a 3Com Superstack that has our internet access and a VLAN for another server with Cat5. Starting this morning, the link between the CISCO and the 3Com started acting up. If you watch the link it goes red...then green....then red....then green, constantly. So we have connectivity, then it dies. I have tried MANY things. I rebooted every network device including internet. I tried different ports on each switch. I have tried different cables. I have actually put a cheap Netgear switch I had laying around BETWEEN the two switches to see if that would help. I made a crossover cable, turned off AUTO-Negotiation and tried FORCING the connection speeds (10, 100, Half AND full duplex). I am at a complete loss as to what to try next beyond throwing it as far as I can. Is there any command or commands for me to find out WHY the Catalyst keeps disabling the port??
