You see them pushing Bugaboos and Maclaren strollers in the DeYoung, their little non-gender-specific child (just one child) walking around being the very center of their perfect universe. Last Wednesday, I went to Shwedagon Pagoda with my friend SYM. Since SYM was going to Singapore on Saturday, it would have been her last time to visit the pagoda, so we went there early in the morning. Actually, I got to my friend's house at 6:45am, but we ate Nan-Gyi Thote (Rice Noodle Salad) near her house, and then went to the pagoda at around 7:00am. We took a taxi there. It was the first time that I've been to Shwedagon Pagoda after Cyclone Nargis. On the pagoda itself, some of the gold leafs pasted on the body of the pagoda have disappeared and only left as black spaces. But it is only on one side of the pagoda. But other from that, there's no major structural damage to the main pagoda. But other small pagodas and pavillions have been damaged because I saw that some were already fixed and gleaming with gold, and some were still being fixed. On a pagoda, there are certain places called "Gyo Tine" for 8 days of the week (Wednesday afternoon is counted as one more day). Most Buddhists in Myanmar go to these gyo-tine for their own birthday (for example, I'm born on Sunday, so I'll go to the "gyo-tine" for Sunday) and donate flowers and pour water over the small Buddha Statue placed at each "gyo-tine". (We call this donating water to Buddha) Well, that day, my friend and I went to each of our "gyo-tine" and prayed and donated water to Buddha. Then we took some photos. Kong Hyo-jin , Im Won-Hee , Park Si-yeon , and Ryoo Seung-beom make up the cast for this sure to be a big spy action hit for Ryoo Seung-wan in 2008. No actual footage is show in the teaser trailer, except for Kong Hyo-jin , Im Won-Hee , and Park Si-yeon . For some reason we don't get to see Ryoo Seung-wan in this James Bond like opening teaser. I am sure he will make a appearance in the trailer which should drop next month. SUMMARY Under Japanese imperialism, Korean national treasure Golden Buddha is stolen. The interim government appoints legendary Korean spy Agent Lee to recover the fabled Statue and reveal the dark plot behind the theft.
