Last week, forty life-sized statues were unveiled at L.A.'s Hollywood & Highland Center for an event advocating universal health insurance for Californians. On Tuesday, the event moved to San Francisco, where the nudies probably blend in a little better. I've seen naked, uninsured Americans before. That describes me last summer (I didn't have air-conditioning, either). The strength of this campaign comes from Blue Shield of California's drive to action both onsite and online.
