I moved to Atlanta in 2006,and i a currently working overseas but should be back in the metro area within a year. I remember searching for a church home and found it quite disturbing the number of false prophets and money making mega Churches in the area.I remember only one, where the pastor was preaching the unadulturated gospel. The church was in Decatur(Peace Baptist Church).I will return there, but before i become a member i would like to know if anyone knows of any other Churches in the area, where the concern is more about living out basic principles of Christianity and getting in the will of God.The article below puts the nailin the coffin.I just need some leads to other preaching and teaching Churches, cause i figure bout time i get back to Atlanta gas will be 5.00$ a gallon.I cant waist my time and money just to lose more money being mislead to one of these Churches.(laff) G. But many that read this scripture feel like "WHERE ARE THEY LORD??" Where are the men that will care more for God's truth than the dollar? Where are the men that will lead God's people against the world instead of INTO the world? Where are the men that don't have a church full homo's and lesbo's faking the funk and turning out the next generation? Where is the man that doesn't have to br ... Project 21's Mychal Massie has repeatedly asked President George W. Bush to issue a pardon to or commute the prison sentences of Ramos and Compean. U.S. Representative Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) called for a "National Day of Prayer for Jailed Border Agents and All Law Enforcement" on May 11. "This is a call upon our God to do what only He can in the absence of any action by President Bush. Christians have long bridged the divide between God and the absence of responsible leadership, and it is only fitting that once again the Church is undertaking to do that which officials will not." ...
