Greg Biffle sure picked a good time to get hot. He took the victory at the Dover 400 Sunday afternoon, taking the first two Chase races. Meanwhile, Kyle Busch picked a bad time to have a slump. After two bad finishes, the driver who's won more races than anyone this year might very well be out of the running for the championship. ... Source: www.nascar.com --- 5 hours ago

Greg Biffle got very cautious when he was asked about the risky move Carl Edwards made last week to try to beat Jimmie Johnson late in the race. "Carl’s my teammate so I don’t want him to be upset... but I think that it was fun to watch on tv and it’s been fun to talk about. But really if you go inside the car and the thought process is, 'OK I’m going to drive down here.' Like he said in his interview, 'I’m going to hit a wall.' You run down in there and he was talking about grazing the wall. If, one, he didn’t clear the 48 car, they’re both in the fence with a wreck. Second, these cars are not like the video game. You can break a tie rod, you can knock and axle house. …lots of things can happen when you hit the fence, especially a pretty good hit. Like I said he hit harder than he expected to. "All I’m saying is there’s a lot of risk involved with that. It was a courageous thing he did to try to beat the 48. It’s all he could do to beat the 48. The risk isn't in not winning. ... The risk is to not be able to finish second because something happened to the car." Biffle also talked about how tentative some drivers get during Talladega because of the potential for danger. To him, it's not such a bad thing. "That’s just the kind of racing these restrictor-plate tracks produce. Everybody wants to stay out of harms way. "Everybody wants to sit up in the bleachers and watch [a wreck-filled race], but not everybody wants to be in that. ... Source: wcco.com --- 26 days ago

Everything that went on last weekend, I'm excited to get some racing in. It's gonna be fun. We've got a really good car.
