An 18-year-old man died of multiple gunshot wounds in Southwest Baltimore early yesterday, city police said. At 12:48 a.m., police found Darius Burton lying on the ground in the 4300 block of Davis Ave. He was pronounced dead at 3:46 a.m. Police knew of no address for the victim. There was no known motive or suspect in the case, police said. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call city homicide detectives at 410-396-2100. ...

We had some exciting results from the Baltimore Marathon, so I decided to share my experience from the Baltimore Half (a local race). To give some back story, this is my first repeat race. I started running last year and the Baltimore Half was my first race. I set the alarm for 6:00 am, but woke up at 5:00 and the excitement was too much to go back to sleep, so I decided to get up, prep for the race and watch the inspirational stories about runners on the news. Finally, I left the house at 7:00 and was parked by 7:15. I live 3 miles from the starting line. I headed over to watch the start of the Marathon and it was awesome, the first time I saw one from the sidelines. After watching all 4,000 some marathoners start I headed over to the finish line to hang out in the celebration Village. I saw the new UA running shoes that come out this January. At about 8:45 the first of the 5K finishers were coming in and I got to watch the first 70 finishers or so come in. Finally I decided to head over to the starting line of the half, to get ready for my race and see the leaders for the Marathon. They were flying. Then I saw a lightning fast guy with black hair, a few tattoos, a Brooks running shirt. It was Jay and he was flying. Finally it was 9:50 or so and time to start with the second wave of the half marathoners. The goal was anything better than last year, 2:09 and some change. Q: Is this the game RB Willis McGahee or Le'Ron McClain breaks out?
