Aston, which has captured the top spot for three years running, soundly thrashed Ferrari (13th place) and Lamborghini (20th place), the other luxury car marques on the list. iPhone, Apple and Bang & Olufsen won the 2nd, 3rd and 4th spots, while the top fashion brand on the list is sexy lingerie purveyor Agent Provocateur at No. 8, beating out Rolex, No. 9. "With excitement surrounding the release of the new film reaching fever pitch it is clear this is really contributing to Aston Martin's cool status," states CoolBrands council chairman Stephen Cheliotis. Top Gear magazine has the story on the Aston Martin One-77, joined by what will probably be more tease-tastic renders. One thing that can be gleaned from the rendering on the TG microsite is the headlight layout, with an inner row of LEDs leading back to an array that includes at least one additional cluster of LEDs. The front end still looks a tad overwrought to us - and a little reminiscent of the GTbyCitroen - but we suppose we'll just have to get a copy of Top Gear before we vote with our thumbs. Judging by the limited upskirt shots in our gallery, the length of the One-77 easily surpasses the DB9 and the stylized front end, with blacked-out headlamps, ensures that the One-77 will spend more time in the comfy confines of heated and carpeted garages then out on the track where it's 7.3-liter V12, carbon fiber monocoque and massive brakes will be put to good use. Well, partially anyway. We've seen renderings of the One-77 , Aston Martin's new flagship supercar, but we've never seen live shots of the ultra-exclusive car. Until now. We managed to catch Aston as they were making some final touches to the One-77 just before the unveiling and here's what we caught with the sheet partially lifted. As we've already told you, the car will only see 77 units of production and, wait, have we mentioned the price tag yet? Yeah, we thought we had — just wanted to make sure it had sunk in.
