Assassin’s Creed is one of the most intriguing, fresh, fun, and absolutely impressive games to come to the Xbox 360. The presentation is stunning and the gameplay will hook you and not let you go for hours at a time. It is not a perfect game by any means, but when you take your time to really experience everything the game has to offer rather than rushing through it, the flaws fade and the strengths shine even brighter. Assassin’s Creed is a great game that is among the very best of 2007. ...

Thanks to a tip from SynGamer, we learned that the ongoing online petition for Ubisoft to bring Assassin's Creed ( PC , Xbox 360 , PS3 ) to Sony 's PSP has now broken past the 20,000 mark. As of press time, the petition has so far garnered 22, 176 signatures, and it is undoubtedly not showing signs of slowing down anytime soon. The petition first came about after Ubisoft announced that it will be porting the game to the PSP's rival, Nintendo's DS . It sure looks like the word has spread, indeed, for the cause. We can only hope now that  more people give their signatures to this petition and that Ubisoft will heed what the fans want. If you've yet to sign up for the petition, just click on our source link below. Buy: [ Assassin's Creed (PS3) ] Buy: [ Assassin's Creed (Xbox 360) ] ...

Filed under: Culture , Video We know that some of you complained that Assassin's Creed 's missions got a little repetitive after a while, and it's a fair complaint. But, as we can see in this new video from Mega64, all we apparently needed to do to spice them up was to actually attempt them in the real world (no, not all of them, JT). We felt this after the Rainbow Six Vegas 2 terrorist video , but Assassin's Creed once again leaves us dumbfounded that the Mega64 guys still haven't gotten the crap kicked out of them by some muscley stranger. Not that we're complaining, of course. Read  |  Permalink  |  Email this  |  Comments ...

Not their best work, but it's still fun to watch the Mega64 guys trying to blend in at some sort of real world farmer's market while dressed as Altair from Assassin's Creed. The video's highlight?... ...

Filed under: Sony PlayStation 3 , Microsoft Xbox 360 , Action , Business In a recent piece by Forbes , Laurent Detoc, president of Ubisoft North America, explains that the publisher won't release Assassin's Creed 2 until there is "more anticipation for it." Meaning: Ubisoft is in no rush to push Altair out of a window until it's sure there's a sufficient amount of rabid consumers below to break his fall. Forbes uses The Prince of Persia series as an example of what Ubisoft does not want to repeat, writing that PoP: Sands of Time sold " 2 million copies in its first month," followed by sequels which didn't perform as well (sounds fishy to us). Is that why the company waited three years to make a new Prince of Persia ? Permalink  |  Email this  |  Comments ...

Today we'll be looking at Assassin's Creed ( AC for short) for the PC, a port of a game that launched over six months ago on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Reviews were decidedly mixed on the console version, with some publications declaring it one of the best games of the year and others labeling it as merely okay. As usual, what you actually think of the game will depend a lot on what you're looking for, and there are certain to be users that will love this game and others that will hate it. We'll discuss the gameplay and the pros and cons of the game momentarily. One of the other interesting tidbits about the PC port of AC is that it's one of the first titles to launch with support for DirectX 10.1... sort of. Version 1.0 does indeed support DirectX 10.1 features, but Ubisoft decided to remove this functionality in the 1.02 patch. Whether it will make a return in the future is unclear, but signs point to "no". Given that we're late to the game in terms of reviewing AC , we are going to spend a decent chunk of this review looking at the technology side of the equation and what it means to gamers. Photoshop CS2, UC-Logic PF1209-Pro Tablet (Approx. 30 Hours) andnbsp I thought I'd take a break from the dragons since I don't want my gallery to have a dragon-obsessed look.) So here it is, my Assassin's Creed fanart. I am not too crazy about the game, the use of Turkish Flags as Saracen's Flags bugged me, and the Turkish speaking Templars was like wtf But the gameplay and the overall graphic quality was incredible and the character animations amazed me so I decided to make a piece about it. I took a screenshot as reference and went from there so I hope you like this. Next week I'll continue with the dragons. ...
