Civil War Theme and Americana Music Compilation Deadline: Oct 1, 2008 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time Crescent Music and Media is looking for material to finish up a compilation project with a Civil War theme. All artists will receive a brief critique of their submission and artists featured on the compilation will receive royalties. The compilation will be released this fall with both physical and digital distribution. They are open to Americana music, but prefer songs that directly relate to the Civil War or similar themes of bravery, suffering and patriotism. Submissions can be actual Civil War period standards (such as Dixie, Battle Hymn of The Republic) or they can be modern updated original music played in any genre. Crescent Music and Media is a promotion/production company based out of Charlotte, NC, and has featured Sonicbids artists on various compilations.
