Packers CB Al Harris is making bold but vague statements this week. T.O. torched the Packers for 156 yards and a TD on seven catches last season , something Harris doesn't expect to happen again. "I can say this: I think this is a much better game-plan (this week)," Harris told reporters in Green Bay. "This is the best game-plan that we've had since I've been here, in this scheme. I honestly think that. And you can quote me on that. After the game, you won't even say anything. You'll just smile and know what I'm talking about." And Harris wanted to make sure folks knew that it wasn't his fault that T.O. put up big stats against the Packers. "Do you remember the last game?" Harris asked, calling it "the game that I had two interceptions" even though one was nullified. "Let me ask you a couple questions: How many yards did T.O. have? 156. How many catches? Seven. How many did you see me around him? Three. That should tell you right there if they had a great game plan for what we were doing. You've got to read between the lines on the rest." ...

And, according to what he said on Sporting News radio yesterday (as transcribed by Larry Brown Sports ), he is going to stay that way. Stews: "It's obvious that some time during the course of the year, Lane Kiffin is probalby going to be dismissed from his job. Good for Denny, insomuch as he appears to be able to recognize another horrible coaching situation that he has no business stepping into. Seriously, think about it: Lane Kiffin is still employed , the Raiders are 1-1 and effectively not the worst team in the NFL, and we're asking unemployed people if they'd be interested in a job opening. I'm not saying people should leave Kiffin alone and and let him work, I'm just pointing out that Green would have to be both desperate and crazy to think about taking the Oakland gig at this point.
