If you're not going to be in a bar somewhere playing Palin Bingo , and you want to watch the debate online, here are a few options: CNN Live -- CNN will stream the debate online live. David All, a Republican technology consultant, and Time's Ana Marie Cox will discuss the debate online between 8-11 pm East Coast time. All jokes that the experience will be like watching "Mystery Science Theater 3000." Hmmm, that's just what we need. MySpace will also stream the debate online at MyDebates.org . Conveniently, you can also register to vote at the same time. Since voter registration deadlines are looming , it might be a good place for you to stop off if you haven't already filled out the form and mailed it in. MSNBC will also stream the debate live (you can watch below,) as will Current TV . Current TV has used Adobe to embed tweets into its broadcast. They tested the system last Friday . If you want a global perspective on the debate, check out Livestation , a company that's based in London. They've partnered with Al Jazeera to bring viewers an online video stream with a chatroom. The drawback to this particular option is that you have to download a Livestation Player. Meanwhile, The Huffington Post's OffTheBus citizen-driven reporting project is asking its readers to write in with their local Media pundits' reactions to the debate. If enough people report in on a timely manner, it could make for a refreshingly different perspective ...

Adobe ( NSDQ: ADBE ) confirmed today at a conference that it was indeed working on a Flash Player for the iPhone and that it will submit it soon to Apple ( NSDQ: AAPL ) for inclusion into the App Store, Flash Magazine reported . Since Apple will be the one that makes the final call on whether it's approved, who knows if it will ever make it on to the phone? Of course, many people have been waiting for the moment since often times it means videos and other content won't play in the browser. The possibility surfaced at the "Flash On The Beach" conference, where Adobe Systems' Paul Betlem, a senior director of engineering, was quoted as saying that his team is working on Flash on the iPhone, "but [the iPhone is] a closed platform." So, if Apple's game, Adobe will have the Player available "in a very short time." Check out the best business jobs in digital Media. Go here for paidContent.org Job Board. ...

Digital Media company ON Networks will begin distributing outside content through its AllScreen Syndication Network, a decision that will open up its market, co-founder Jennifer Grogono says. ON Networks produces and distributes its own content to syndication platforms including iTunes, Adobe Media Player, Verizon, and TiVo. ON Networks will share revenue with the video content creators that use its syndication platform. The service can now deliver any advertising and content in high-definition to screens around the world through online, cable, mobile, gaming, podcasting, and satellite networks. Don Reisinger at TechCrunch reported on the deal this morning. Andy interviewed Grogono at the Omma Global conference in New York , where they were both panelists. In October, ON Networks will launch the first season of Saturday Night Live star Amy Poehler's new web series, "Smart Girls at the Party," which will feature Poehler interviewing young girls with unique talents and points of view. -- Kelsey Blodget , Associate Producer ... An Adobe official has confirmed that Adobe is working on Flash technology for the iPhone, and that the Player will be available in a very short time if Apple gives it the OK, according to a report by CNET. Adobe already has Flash running on an iPhone emulator. Andy interviewed Adobe CTO Kevin Lynch about the evolution of Flash at the MIT Technology Review EmTech08 conference last week. Flash is the most broadly deployed technology on the web today and the Flash Player is responsible for drastically improving the online video viewing experience, according to Lynch. Flash would improve the viewing of web video and rich Media pages on the iPhone, so we hope Apple says yes to the technology sooner rather than later. Adobe will continue working on online video innovations, like text search within video, indexing video with search engines at different time points, and interactivity, Lynch says. -- Kelsey Blodget , Associate Producer ... CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Content distribution network Akamai Technologies launched Openvideoplayer.com in an effort to unite the video publishing industry around an standardized video Player. The base source code Akamai contributed to the Open Video Player has already been used by customers including Hulu and The NBA. The industry needs a Player "that is standard, much like the television is standard, and everyone knows, you know, how to easily develop content for it and how to insert the ads," Senior Industry Marketing Manager for Digital Media Suzanne Johnson says. Andy interviewed Johnson at the Akamai offices in Cambridge last week. Akamai teamed up with Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlight to provide easy-to-use advertising plug-ins for the Open Video Player. Partners for the initiative include 24/7 Real Media, Adobe Corporation, Microsoft, Clickability, and Panache. A standardized Player would certainly make audience measurement and ad delivery easier, and we'll be interested to see how this develops. -- Kelsey Blodget , Associate Producer ...
