AVISO: la siguiente noticia puede desvelar detalles sobre ‘El caballero oscuro’ (‘The Dark Knight’) a quien no la haya visto. Ya he avisado.

So, there's a big question at the end of Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight . It was fairly apparent that Aaron Eckhart's star-making character of Harvey Dent, the crusading district attorney who has his life systematically destroyed by Heath Ledger's Joker had met his maker after his last stand. Yet there were many who believed that fall didn't kill him, and that he'd be locked away in Arkham Asylum awaiting a third film. The question of "is Harvey Dent alive" was just posed to Eckhart himself less than an hour ago, at the junket for his new indie film Towelhead , and this was his response. "No. He is dead as a doornail. He ain't coming back, baby. I asked Chris that question, and he goes 'You're dead.' Before I even got the question out of my mouth. 'Hey, Chris, am I - ' 'You're dead.' 'All right, cool.' No, I'm not coming back. I think, unfortunately, Heath was supposed to go on, you know, and that didn't work out. I'm nobody, I'm a cog, so I have no say in this sort of stuff, but I'm sure that there are so many other characters that they can whip together. I mean, I heard Angelina Jolie was going to be Catwoman or something. I thought that was a great idea. I'd like to be in that one!" So there you have it. One mystery solved. We've lost Gotham's white knight. He was the best of us. ...

If you look at the box office numbers, it's mathematically impossible that you haven't seen The Dark Knight . And if you really haven't somehow, honestly, what are you doing? Thus, I'm unapologetic about posting this spoiler from an interview with Aaron Eckhart : CS/SHH!: Is Harvey Dent alive? Aaron Eckhart: No. He is dead as a door nail. CS/SHH!: So he's not coming back? Eckhart: He ain't coming back baby! CS/SHH!: I was hoping he would. Eckhart: No. I asked Chris [Nolan] that question and he goes, "You're dead" before I could even get the question out of my mouth. "Hey Chris, am I?" "You're dead!" Alright, cool. CS/SHH!: That's not a problem in comic book movies. You could still come back. Eckhart: I think in contract negotiations it's a problem. CS/SHH!: So you were never signed on for another film? Eckhart: No, I'm not coming back. I think unfortunately, Heath [Ledger] was supposed to go on and that didn't work out. I'm nobody. I'm a cog. I have no say over this sort of stuff. Yessss. This is going to make my Harvey Dent rookie card worth so much more. And, yeah, Eckhart, I guess the whole Heath Ledger thing really didn't "work out," did it. ...

Amidst wild rumors for Dark Knight 3's casting process (think Cher as Catwoman), actor Aaron "Two Face" Eckhart gave us some bat-closure on a few of the many bat-rumors. So are we going to see the former Gotham City DA's pretty deformed mug again? Dark Knight spoilers ahead. In a press conference Eckard was doing for Towelhead , the press tried to squeeze out a denial from the actor about whether his Dark Knight character is toast in the next film. Is it possible that Two-Face survived his apparent demise in the end? Eckhart told Coming Soon that he was sorry to say Harvey Dent is DOA: Q: Is Harvey Dent alive? Aaron Eckhart: No. He is dead as a door nail. Q: So he's not coming back? Eckhart: He ain't coming back baby! Q: I was hoping he would. Eckhart: No. I asked Chris [Nolan] that question and he goes, "You're dead" before I could even get the question out of my mouth. "Hey Chris, am I?" "You're dead!" Alright, cool. Yesterday, a screener for The Dark Knight leaked all over the interwebs, so the entire world has officially enjoyed Chris Nolan’s Batman sequel. I thought I vowed never to write another article on The Dark Knight, but here we are, at it again! Aaron Eckhart provided an update today to ComingSoon regarding the fate of his character - Two-Face. While this isn't even really news, it's definitely the update that many fans needed to see in order to settle any speculation they've had. I'll save the meaty details until after the jump, but considering Dark Knight has passed $500 million, I expect everyone has seen it by now anyway. By this point in time, everyone knows that Eckhart plays Harvey Dent who eventually becomes Two-Face in a performance that I thought was just as good as Heath Ledger's. Eckhart finally puts to rest all the rumors about the fate of Two-Face. "He is dead as a door nail," Eckhart confirms. "I asked Chris [Nolan] that question and he goes, 'You're dead' before I could ... ...

Aaron Eckhart has proved to us that even with an awful haircut and belly the size of a house, he still manages to look like someone’s dad we all want to shag. Is it the beautiful pillow asschin? E! Online - Aaron Eckhart has had a good summer. He can take credit for some of The Dark Knight’s awesomeness, with his Harvey Dent/Two-Face baddie getting almost as freaky as Heath Ledger’s Joker. But $500 million later, we have to ask him: Two-Face could survive that deadly fall at the construction site, right? More: [...] ...
