It's 541 miles from Athens, Ga., to New Orleans, but for a NFL rookie, the journey from college to the pros can seem like a world apart. While playing the same position in the same defensive scheme may make things simpler for saints third-round draft pick John Jenkins, the transition from life as a college defensive lineman to that of the professional ranks doesn't lack obstacles. "I mean, it's a big step, college into the professional world," Jenkins said. "But the (other defensive linemen) are helping me out a lot. I can't ask for a better group of guys. "The guys are really showing me the ropes, showing me how to do things, work with me on and off the field." Jenkins is familiar with the 3-4 alignment new saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan is implementing. He spent the two previous years as a nose guard at Georgia. saints coach Sean Payton said the team's interview with Georgia defensive coordinator Todd Grantham for its then-vacant coordinator job aided in the overall decision to draft Jenkins. The potential is there, but there's also the reality of patience at a position where rookies usually don't make immediate impacts. Sony announced that latest batch of titles that will be free on the EU PS Plus service in July. From July 3rd subscribers in the EU will be able to download Battlefield 3 , saints Row: The Third and Payday: The Heist for PlayStation 3. Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus and Unit 13 will also be free to download for the PlayStation Vita. The latest titles to be released follow the hints that were given in the supposedly leaked Russian photo , that purported to show the free titles that would be announced in June, July and August. If the photo is correct, then the August games will include Spec Ops: The Line and DMC . This follows on from the yearly update that offered XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Uncharted 3 free and with Sony admitting that PS Plus will be required for online play on the PlayStation 4, it looks like they are pushing to promote the service by showing that it offers great value for money. ...

GTA V’s delay is a blessing in disguise. Beforehand, we were extremely frustrated with Rockstar Games for delaying GTA V until September and again holding off releasing info, but now that we’ve seen the trailer for this saints Row IV we now realize that Rockstar could never sink as low was Volition have. GTA 5 vs saints Row 4 While the delay of GTA 5 is a disappointment, we are sure that it will be worth the wait when it arrives, considering Rockstar have put years of dedication and effort into it. All Volition have done however is take saints Row 3 and add some more of the childish sci-fi bulls that fans hated and passed it off as a completely new game. We can agree that this isn’t even worth to mention as a competitor. saints Row is no longer a threat to GTA. It did appear so once gameplay footage of saints Row 3 was out showing off all these crazy, over-the-top features while GTA V hadn’t even been announced let alone had a trailer released. However, Rockstar finally announced the game with a trailer (showing the location to be San Andreas) whereas saints Row 3 finally came out and turned out to be disappointing compared to saints Row 2 (as much as we enjoyed it for a few months). Since then, all they’ve done is release a bunch of poor-quality DLCs and ignore their fanbase. Rockstar may have been silent a few times while not releasing info, but at least they are actually giving fans what they want with GTA 5, whereas Volition ...

Under the radar when Devery Henderson signed with the Redskins the other day was that they also signed former Saint Donte Stallworth in tandem with him. That got me thinking, how on EARTH is this guy still in the league?? It seriously makes no sense at all. And actually, I want to know how he survived that hit pictured to the left. Stallworth was born just two months after me, so he's still relatively young at 32. Still, when the league's average for a player is a three year career, and Stallworth's career has been one of consistent underachievement, it's hard to understand how he's still hanging around when no one seems to want to keep him. Stallworth has 42 receptions in the last four years and he played for a different team in each of those four seasons. So clearly no one is enamored in keeping him around. That said, he's had two stints with the Patriots (2007 and 2012) and now two stints with the Redskins (2011 and 2013). He hasn't played for the same team two years in a row since 2005, his last year with the saints. The saints drafted him in the 1st round out of Tennessee as a receiver with blazing speed and a world of potential. He had splashes of potential with his best year coming in the Katrina season (70 receptions for 945 yards and 7 touchdowns). saints Of Valory set up shop in the desert in their "Neon Eyes" lyric video. If you ask arena rockers saints Of Valory how they met, you'll be in for a good story. Each band member is from a different part of the world: frontman Gavin Jasper comes from Brazil, guitarist Godfrey Thomson is a West Coaster (ie. California), drummer Gerard Bouvier is French, and keyboardist Stephen Buckle is from Canada. Come to think of it, we're actually a little shocked the band's not called "The United Nations."
