Help with jailbreak iPhone updating

I know it's stupid of me to jailbreak my iPhone, but after I use it for a while, I wanted to unjailbreak my iPhone, so I upgrade the OS to iOS 6.1.4 from my phone and now it's in black screen and ask to connect to iTunes, but the iTunes won't upgrade and says that it couldn't connect to the software upgrade server and ask me to connect to the internet. My internet is working fine, but it still won't connect. Can someone please help me? ...

What's going on. I am here to ask a question that I am sure alot of you have already answered but does anyone know when there will be an untethered jailbreak for IOS 6.1.3. I did a tethered jailbreak with snowbreeze but Cydia would not load at times and I would have to restore my phone again. I am not sure if it was the tethered jailbreak that was causing this problem or if I was downloading things that were not fully compatible with IOS 6.1.3. But either way I don't want to have to do a restore in order to jailbreak my phone or my friend's phones. I have searched for the answer all over google and I have not been able to get a good determination as to when this will be able to be done. I appreciate any help I can get. THANKS! ...

My iPhone 5 has been getting worse and worse battery life. I just thought I had a faulty jailbreak app, or used it so much that this is why it didn't seem to last, but after using a couple of diagnostic tools it is clear it only holds 77% charge! Obviously I need to get the battery replaced. But I don't want the phone replaced, as it is jailbroken. Advice? Anyone had a battery replaced yet on an iPhone 5? ...

Hello folks, in the last months I've been developing a keyboard hack for jailbroken iPhones/iPads. Inspired by the Android SwiftKey, it will add a 5th row on top of the default iOS keyboard. The new row contains three word completions or next word suggestions. Before I started the development, there've been two similar approaches: Octopus and TouchPal. Personally, I find Octopus a bit clumsy to use, and TouchPal doesn't support SwipeSelection and also has no German dictionary. So I decided to write my own keyboard hack. I'm curious to know what's on everyone's list for what Apple would have to add/change in iOS7 for you to not want to jailbreak? I'm specifically posting this in the jailbreak forum rather than the iOS forum as the opinion of those who have jailbroken is all that matters. Mine are: -easy access to frequently used settings -respond to text messages without leaving open app -widgets for both lockscreen and homescreen There are more things I'd like, but if Apple did these three things I'd probably not mess with jailbreaking. ...

I just jailbroke my iphone 3gs. It was on at &t and I finally got it to say the carrier is t mobile. My firmware is 6.1.3 and my baseband is 06.15.00. I guess it is a tethered jailbreak because I can only open cydia if I use just boot in redsnow (doesn't work if I just start it myself). When I use just boot it says searching and then no service on and off. I have installed ultrasnow, but I still am unable to get any service. Any suggestions? Thanks. ...

Hi, I recently restored my iPod Touch 2nd Gen on iTunes as I wanted to scrub all music from it. It was jailbroken by Greenpois0n before. Now when I use Greenpois0n to try and jailbreak it, it just says jailbreak failed. The countdown for "Release sleep and continue to hold home" doesn't go all the way down, it stops and 9 and goes to the "jailbreak" button. My iPod is running 4.2.1 and is an MC Model. I am using Greenpois0n RC6.1 Any help would be much appreciated. Hello, After I checked some of the features of jailbreaking iOS devices, I decider to go for it. Unfortunaly, I upgraded to 6.1.3. So, the only way to jailbreak is to go back to 6.1.2. I downloaded the IPSW file, made a full backup on my computer, shift-clicked "Check for updates" and I selected the file. After a few moments, it tells me it can't be updated. So my only way now is to fully restore my iPod Touch with 6.1.2. However, if I do a full backup on my computer, if I select when setting up my iPod: "Restore from an iTunes backup", will it be exactly how it was when I backed up all my data? Also, I know a guy in school that he jailbroken his iPod Touch 4G and he made so he could have different unlock types, like instead of the basic 4-digit code, he can get something like the Android style (with 9 circles you have to correctly link) and that he could play a few notes on a virtual piano keyboard. How do I get theses? ...
