I am here to ask a question that I am sure alot of you have already answered but does anyone know when there will be an untethered jailbreak for IOS 6.1.3. I did a tethered jailbreak with snowbreeze but Cydia would not load at times and I would have to restore my phone again. I am not sure if it was the tethered jailbreak that was causing this problem or if I was downloading things that were not fully compatible with IOS 6.1.3. But either way I don't want to have to do a restore in order to jailbreak my phone or my friend's phones. I have searched for the answer all over google and I have not been able to get a good determination as to when this will be able to be done. I appreciate any help I can get. THANKS! ...

Before proceeding to jailbreak your Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone 5, please read these notes below: jailbreak Apple’s iPhone 5 With Easy Steps Backup your device using iTunes (or iCloud) before using evasi0n. If something breaks, you’ll always be able to recover your data. Please disable the lock passcode of your iOS device before using evasi0n. It can cause issues. Avoid all iOS and iTunes related tasks until evasi0n is complete. Why not just enjoy a brief break from the computer to stretch your legs? If the process gets stuck somewhere, it’s safe to restart the program, reboot the device (if necessary by holding down Power and Home until it shuts down), and rerun the process. If you get an error on OS X 10.8 saying that evasi0n can’t be opened, control-click (or right-click) the app and on the revealed context menu, choose ‘Open.’ On the ensuing dialogue box, choose ‘Open’ as well. Requirements 5 minutes of your time. A computer, running Windows (XP minimum), Mac OS X (10.5 minimum) or Linux (x86 / x86_64) An iPhone, iPad or iPod running iOS 6.0 through 6.1 (you may check in Settings / General / About => Version) A USB cable to connect the device to the computer Download Download iPhone 5 jailbreak (v1.03) for Windows The post jailbreak Apple iPhone 5 Easiest Method Update Release appeared firs ...

Inspired by the Android SwiftKey, it will add a 5th row on top of the default iOS keyboard. The new row contains three word completions or next word suggestions. Before I started the development, there've been two similar approaches: Octopus and TouchPal. Personally, I find Octopus a bit clumsy to use, and TouchPal doesn't support SwipeSelection and also has no German dictionary. So I decided to write my own keyboard hack. Here's a screenshot: Since I can test it only on my own device (which is an iPhone 5 running iOS 6.1.2), I now need beta testers! The hack should also work on older iPhones and iPads running at least iOS 5, but I cannot verify up to now. If you are interested in beta testing, please drop me a line. For more information, I created a (preliminary) website: predictivekeyboard.fralima.com Thanks :) Matthias ...

I'm specifically posting this in the jailbreak forum rather than the iOS forum as the opinion of those who have jailbroken is all that matters.
Jailbreak iPod Touch 5G

Also, I know a guy in school that he jailbroken his iPod Touch 4G and he made so he could have different unlock types, like instead of the basic 4-digit code, he can get something like the Android style (with 9 circles you have to correctly link) and that he could play a few notes on a virtual piano keyboard. How do I get theses? ...
