Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge does appear on one of the box's designs. All told, 42 NBA players are included on the promotional items but Babbitt, widely regarded as the Chalupa King , is not pictured in any of the promotional artwork. What's the point of a nationwide advertising campaign if the league's leading Tex-Mex pitchman isn't involved? "It feels good to give the fans Taco Bell," Babbitt said once, hopefully not for the last time. What is this thing? The NBA and Taco Bell have teamed up to create six different NBA-themed boxes filled with your Taco Bell favorite menu items on the inside, and sporting dozens of your favorite NBA players on the outside. o Six different box designs: three featuring the West Conference and three featuring the East Conference. o 42 NBA players in total are featured on the boxes (seven on each box; six boxes total). o The boxes feature players from all 30 NBA teams. Use the box to create a miniature basketball court: Each box includes a perforated circle so that you can pop your cup (complete with artwork that makes it look like a hoop) in the box, ball up your wrapper, and take your best shot. Go head-to-head with a friend by connecting two boxes to create a full court. Babbitt, 23, is set to become an unrestricted free agent t ...

The damage? Just 89¢. The chain is currently testing the breakfast Taco at a rumored three locations near company HQ in Orange County in preparation for a potential nationwide roll-out. So, until that fateful day, should the rest of the country be jealous? My vote: definitely not . Because while a waffle shaped like a Taco, filled with egg and sausage, and drizzled with maple syrup has the potential to be great, you'll never get there with highly processed ingredients, and that's exactly what Taco Bell is serving up. Mine was prepared, wrapped in foil, and served in the same amount of time it took me to fill a small cup with water. Not a good sign. Unlike the beauty shot, the sausage patty doesn't reach the edge of the waffle, and the portion of eggs is quite piddly, so the first bite on both ends is only waffle. Unfortunately, these were the only two bites I enjoyed. By itself, the waffle is passably tasty . It's lightly fried (not toasted), making it crisp and slightly ...

It features a Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco shell, filled with new shredded chicken, new Fiery Sauce, shredded lettuce, and shredded cheddar cheese. The Supreme version tacks on sour cream and tomato sauce. The price was 79 cents for the regular and 99 cents for the Supreme. The shredded chicken is the same chicken used in the Shredded Chicken Mini Quesadilla ,which is also being tested by Taco Bell. Its flavor profile is similar to Taco Bell's seasoned beef, but with underlying chicken notes. The texture reminds me a bit of canned chicken chunks if you shredded them. The Fiery Sauce is very similar to Taco Bell's current Chipotle Sauce, but spicier. It has the same tangy mayo-ness, but brings a moderate heat that lingered on the tongue for a little while after the Taco was gone. I thought maybe the sour cream from the Supreme version would help cool it, but it didn't do too much. The sauce also makes for a slightly messier eating experience. The lettuce and tomatoes (in the Supreme) were fresh and I noticed that the cheese was a finer, moister shred rather than the drier, bigger pieces I remember. Between the Fiery Sauce and the Cool Ranch Doritos Taco shell, the flavors here were pretty intense, but interacted well together. If you're looking for a flavor explosion, this might be it. Overall, ...

And then there’s Taco Bell. Now on test at select locations in Southern California, the new Fiery Chicken Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco is the latest crazy edition to T-Bell’s ever-growing DLT line. It swaps out the traditional ground soy meat with pieces of shredded chicken doused in chipotle sauce and is also available “Supreme,” with sour cream and diced tomatoes. Like with most fast food items, chances are neither the Cool Ranch Taco nor the Fiery Chicken will be all that “cool” or “fiery” – (wouldn’t want such intense flavors to clash or anything) – but if it does do well, here’s to hoping we’ll see a Fiery Chicken Flamas DLT in the very near future. Like something out a romance novel sponsored by Yum! Brands Inc., a number of models and actresses — Sports Illustrated’s Chrissy Teigen, Miss California 2012 Leah Cecil, Awkward’s Jessica Lu, and others — have been the recipients of one of the stranger marketing ideas we’ve heard of, especially coming from a company not necessarily associated with model-types. “A wise woman once said, ‘If you liked it then you should have put a ring on it’ We like you,” reads the note sent to Teigen. “So we wanted to give you this custom Taco Bell ring … You’re funny, cool and you like Taco Bell.” The creepiest one we saw was this note to a model named Acacia Brinley: “Following you on Twitter was the best decision we ever made. You’re cool, a great friend and you like Taco Bell! We have to get you into the test kitchen this summer. We only let really cool people see our test kitchen, so you should be psyched. Keep Tweeting & more awesome things like this custom Taco Bell ring will come your way. Hope you like it. Love, Taco Bell” Of course, even if Taco Bell had tried to woo us with ugly rings and sloppy handwriting, we would have had to give it all back, as our polic ...

I mean, John Legend's babely fiance regularly releases crazy, 140-character claims for the sake of comedy, so it wasn't a far-fetched idea. A fast food chain like Taco Bell wouldn't actually design rings for their most loyal and famous fans to wear, right? Wrong. I was so wrong! Racked did some further investigating, and it appears that this is an actual intiative by the crazy-popular, crazy-unhealthy eatery, wherein they've selected to gift a handful of social media-happy patrons with a handwritten note accompanied by two gold, kind of chic rings—one that says "Taco" and one that says "Bell." Model/actress Acacia Brinley, Kristin Storms of Days of Our Lives , YouTube's Alexa Losey andMiss California Leah Cecil also got hooked up with some TB love, complete with a $20 gift card and tour of the company's Los Angeles HQ. Is this real life? ...

Don't Eat That, John! -- The Taco Bell Doritos Taco Smoothie

That's why Taco Bell has been able to sell half a billion of them. Not everything in life (e.g. cars, houses, in-laws) comes in delicious Doritos flavors, but tacos do. There's just one problem with Doritos Locos Tacos: they're not the healthiest of foods. Let's fix that. Inspired by a tweet by Robb Allen, I'll show you how to make these tacos into vegan smoothies. I made two smoothies, one for each of the two flavors in which Taco Bell offers these culinary delights: nacho cheese and cool ranch. Both flavors used the same smoothie ingredients: 1 cup of organic soy milk 1 cup of diced pineapple 5 large strawberries 1/4 cup of frozen blueberries 1 whole banana 1 teaspoon of Chia seed Chia seed or salvia hispanica is, yes, the same plant used to make Chia Pets . While it can be used for household decoration, chia seed is also an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acid, protein and fiber. It's a popular ingredient in vegan cuisine. Is this a vegan dish? Well, let's say that the Taco Bell Doritos Taco Smoothie is vegan ish . Certainly a majority of the content of each smoothie consists of vegan products. Your own smoothie ingredients may vary. Although I resorted to frozen blueberries, it's best to use, whenever possible, fresh fruit and entirely organic products. Remember that your goal is to eat healthily. Okay, let's get started. Wait until your wife ...

The video, uploaded to YouTube on May 14, 2013, shows a black CTA bus driver going bananas at an unidentified Taco Bell drive-thru window, because someone put tomatoes on his tacos. "I work 10 hours a day and y'all talkin' shit," said the angry transit worker. "I said no tomatoes. Y'all ain't even got no Mexicans working there and y'all motherfuckers can't make the order right! Fuck y'all! Broke ass ******!" And as if his ghastly behavior at the drive thru wasn't bad enough, the city bus driver threatened to "knock the fuck out of" the woman who recorded the incident... which by the way, is assault. ...

News: Taco Bell Tests Fiery Chicken Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco

Source: www.brandeating.com --- Monday, May 20, 2013
<img src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-UIyuxeZkmNQ/UZtqkButRaI/AAAAAAAAVvU/QrtXgj0uWg0/s200/taco-bell-fiery-chicken-cool-ranch-doritos-locos-taco.jpg" & width="150" & height="240" style="margin: 5pt 10px 0px 0px; float: left;" border="1" align="left" alt="" />It looks like Taco Bell might add a bit more variety to the Cool Ranch base of the Doritos Locos Tacos: they're testing the Fiery Chicken Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco at a few locations out here in Southern California. While Taco Bell has offered two different version of the Doritos Locos Tacos (Nacho Cheese and Cool Ranch), the test marks the first time that they're tinkering with what goes inside the shell. The tacos feature the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco shell, but filled with shredded chicken rather than ground beef. The "fiery" comes from Taco Bell's chipotle sauce and is accompanied by the standard shredded lettuce and grated cheddar cheese. Like the original, a Supreme version is also available and adds diced tomatoes and sour cream. Since it's a test, I'm almost 100% sure that Taco Bell is offering it at a lowered price to encourage customers to try it: the regular version is offered at 79 cents and the Supreme version is offered at 99 cents. If the Fiery Chicken Doritos Locos Taco makes it out of test and goes national, look for it to be more in line with the regular Doritos Locos' pricing at $1.39 and $1.69 respectively. ...
