The band also has close connections to The Spinto Band. Steve Hobson has sons Joey and Jeffrey Hobson in the band and Scott Birney has sons Thomas and Samuel Hughes in the band. Birney’s son Albert was also in The Spinto Band until the conclusion of their 2005 album Nice and Nicely Done.
