Vin Diesel returns as Riddick, a dangerous, escaped convict wanted by every bounty hunter in the known galaxy, in the upcoming film of the same name, written and directed by David Twohy who also wrote and directed the prior two Riddick films: Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick . The film is described here: The infamous Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he’s encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty. The first ship to arrive carries a new breed of merc, more lethal and violent, while the second is captained by a man whose pursuit of Riddick is more personal. With time running out and a storm on the horizon that no one could survive, his hunters won’t leave the planet without Riddick’s head as their trophy. Riddick hits theaters on September 6. Link ...

Anyone have any recent experience with this game? I'm wondering if it runs well nowadays on 10.8.3 or if it has any known problems, crashes, etc. It was kinda hard to get a feeling for this looking at feedback on the App Store. The game hasn't seen an update for two years now but maybe it hasn't needed one either. I'd be playing it on a mid-2011 27" iMac with 12 gigs RAM and 6970m GPU with 10.8.3 if I buy it. ...

I’m indifferent when it comes to Pitch Black, The Chronicles of Riddick , and Vin Diesel. So this movie obviously isn’t for me. Plus it looks like the trailer gives everything away. A group of bounty hunters are after Riddick (shocking), he toys with them (more shocking), they catch him eventually, monsters show up, and then the bounty hunters have to turn to Riddick for help.
