It was announced last fall that Lopez would act as a creative partner with the English-language Latino network, but her role within the company has increased and was announced as such this week during NuvoTV’s upfronts presentation. Thomas Umstead New York -- Actress/singer Jennifer Lopez will serve as Latino-targeted cable network NuvoTV’s new chief creative officer, the network announced during its upfront presentation here. In her new role Lopez, who partnered with NuvoTV last September, will be involved in network programming and on-air decisions as well as the development of several original shows for the English-language network, according to NuvoTV CEO Michael Schwimmer. “Jennifer has real good instincts and she’s been pretty successful in what she touches,” Schwimmer told Multichannel News . “She’ll even weight in on shows that don’t come from her company (Nuyorican Productions).
