This release was on a razor's edge for quite some time here. Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is now available in Australia as a digital download on the Wii U Nintendo eShop for $79.95. The game currently seems as though it may be a digital download only, as the press release only states the game as a download, and Australian retailers don't seem to be selling the title. Razor's Edge was the first game to receive an R18+ rating in the country. Other versions of the game for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 have already been released earlier in the year. Nintendo finally updated the Wii U's parental controls a couple of weeks ago with the ability to filter the new rating. Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor enjoyed the privilege of being the first game to be in the R18+ rating and later on PS3 and Xbox 360 joined it. The Wii U edition of Ninja Gaiden 3 : Razor's Edge arrives in Australia as a digital download on May 11, Nintendo Australia announced today.
