Currently, there are only a handful of work arounds if you do not have a 6D. For Canon Cameras, the Cam Ranger is an attractive alternative, however, its a bit spendy. If you are a Nikon user, you will be happy to know that you can add Wifi Tetherless shooting to your cameras with the addition of either the WU1A or WU1B, for about $55-60. The Nikon D600 uses the WU1B The Nikon D5200 ... Nikon D7100 use the WU1A You will also need to download Nikon's Mobile Utility App which they have on both Android and iOS platforms: Nikon Wireless Mobile Utility for Android Nikon Wireless Mobile Utility for iPhones/iPads I just got my WU1B for my D600 and should have some fun videos coming this week showing ways to use it. ...

My results as demonstrated were to the contrary. Up to 3200-6400 (depending on the subject matter) they are very similar. 12800 and higher? The Canon 6D is much cleaner, particularly when it comes to rendering blacks. The D600's shadows start taking on a purplish hue. Not only is this visible in full size jpegs, its visible in resized images, as well as video which was clearly demonstrated on my Nikon D600 vs Canon 6D Epic Shootout . To it's benefit, the D600 has better dynamic range. Keep in mind, I own, use and love both cameras. Here are both resized to fit the blog. ...
