I'm not sure how many of you are aware that Nik Software, a major player in Photoshop Plug-ins, was purchased by Google. There has been concern by previous owners of these great Software modules that Google would no longer support or advance this Software line. To the contrary Google has improved the latest version and is offering the entire suite to new users for $149. That's a bargain!. Even better is the offer given to present owners of any plug-in module from Nik. You get the whole suite from Google for free. I had purchased Vivesa 2 and Silver Effects Pro 2 from Nik. I just downloaded the 6 module suite and love it. It cost me nothing. I also own OnOne's suite of plug-in Software. Convergence , a photo by M9ike on Flickr. Parlant de HDR, cet hiver , Google a mis la main sur une petite compagnie qui faisait des "plugins" pour Photoshop et cie. Ça s'appelle "Nik Software". Vraiment un excellent produit qui permet de traiter les photos de toutes sortes de façons. Une véritable chambre noire. Le hic, c'est qu'ils vendaient la suite $600 ! Ou chaque plugin séparé $200... Très dissuasif mettons. Dès que j'ai vu que Google en faisait l'acquisition, j'ai compris que le prix baisserait. Ça a pris quelques mois et ça y est, le prix passe de $600 à $150 pour la suite au complet ! Comme c'est supporté par cette gigantesque compagnie, la présentation est impeccable, le produit est traduit dans toutes les langues etc... On en revient donc au HDR... Dans la suite, il y a un logiciel de HDR. Je ne le connaissais pas du tout. Il appert que c'est un petit chef d'œuvre ! Infiniment plus agréable à utiliser que celui de Photoshop, il permet d'utiliser des "presets" et de les modifier au besoin. Il est beaucoup plus rapide que dans Photoshop de surcroit. Bref, pour les "power users", un must cette suite ! ...
