So much Backstreet Boys bliss!!! After the Backstreet Boys release their eighth album this summer, Nick Carter will go solo once more. But not for a solo album, for a personal book of memoirs! Nick is currently working on a book, titled Facing The Music And Living To Talk About It . It’s currently set to be released this fall! As the title insinuates, the book deals with some pretty heavy stuff. While there will be plenty of fun stories about his time at the peak of his BSB fame , there will also be stories of woe. Nick will delve into family burdens, substance abuse, and alcohol abuse. We’re sure Nick will also have a lot to say about younger siblings Aaron and Leslie Carter , as he is still recovering from the death of Leslie. She died last year at the young age of 25, battling an addiction to prescription drugs. Although some of these topics will be incredibly sad , we’re sure the world can only benefit from hearing about substance abuse struggles from someone who lived through them and survived. The Backstreet Boys singer will release a memoir, “Facing the Music and Living to Talk About It,” on Sept. 24 via Bird Street Books. The 33-year-old is the first in the group to release a book. The autobiography and self-help book will include stories about Carter’s teenage years in the multiplatinum Backstreet Boys, his struggles with substance and alcohol abuse, and the hardships of his family. His younger siblings include Aaron and Leslie Carter. Leslie, who battled with substance abuse, died last year. Carter is engaged to Lauren Kitt. Nick Carter is looking to make his return to reality television. He hopes to televise his trip down the aisle with bride to be, Lauren Kitt. The Backstreet Boy first starred in a reality series alongside his siblings in 2006 in “House of Carters.” The one-season series saw tons of drama, fuelled by fights, tears and an addict mother. This time around, Carter would focus solely on his upcoming wedding as he tries to “make amends with his past” before the nuptials. The singer would also executive produce the show. The series has yet to be picked up, but several networks have reportedly shown interest.
