One Direction have put their money where their mouths are and will be donating a portion of the profits from their tour ticket sales to charity, they have confirmed. Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Harry Styles revealed last week that they will be playing in stadiums all around the world in 2014, as part of their Where We Are tour, which will see them visiting the UK, Ireland, South America and more still to be confirmed countries. After supporting Red Nose Day earlier this year and urging all their fans to do the same, this time the singers will be getting behind Stand Up To Cancer and will donate 50p from all tickets sold in the UK and Ireland to the British organisation. Liam Payne said: “We’re so proud to be supporting Stand Up To Cancer while touring the UK and Ireland. Cancer affects nearly everyone at some point in their lives so we all need to do what we can to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.” He continued: “Stand Up To Cancer is all about bringing people together as a collective force and we hope our fans will get involved too. The 1D hunk is in Madrid today and it seems that all this travelling has boosted his metabolism or something, as he’s revealed that he’s finally started growing facial hair. He’s the grand old age of 19 and should have had decent bum fluff by now, but he told fans today that his bear is only getting started now. The One direction lads took to the stage in Milan last night and as it was their last night in Italy, it seems that they were determined to have some fun. Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan are almost at the end of their European tour and have only a few dates left on this leg of their Take Me Home shows, so they’re obviously making them count. The X Factor stars kicked off the Twitter questions section of their concert last night with a lovely rendition of Dean Martin’s classic track ‘That’s Amore’, after fans asked them to sing an Italian song and that was the best they could come up with. Later in the section, they also delivered another popular and cheesy tune, though this time round they not only got the words right, but they even improvised harmonies too. We already knew that the 1D hunks are big fans of US sitcom Friends, even though they were only tiny little boys when it first aired and last night they sang the theme tune perfectly. The fab fivesome also had a game of imaginary football, on stage, with no ball. Despite the lack of the vital piece of equipment, Louis still thinks he scored a goal. Niall Horan has revealed that the fans who turned out to watch his band perform in Milan last night were more than a little enthusiastic. We revealed video footage yesterday of the One Direction boys being more or less mobbed outside their hotel in the Italian city, as they enjoyed some time off before their last gig in the country and it sounds like the supporters who turned up to see them perform were just as excited to see the singers in real life. Niall, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik took to the stage last night and this morning Horan admitted that it was all a little bit mental.
