The story is well known now in Seattle, the young quarterback Russell Wilson who went into Seahawks camp and beat out high priced free agent pick up Matt Flynn. Russell was a third round pick, overlooked because of his size, he proved that wasn't a detriment and that he could deliver the ball in leading the Seahawks to the playoffs. In 2013, the same scenario could be playing out in Philadelphia with rookie Matt Barkley. The rookie quarterback will compete against Michael Vick and Nick Foles, but Barkley once thought of as a top three QB in 2011 before a down year in 2012 dropped his stock dramatically. However, it's an intriguing situation because all the quarterback are learning a new system and that could level the playing field for Barkley.
