Now, we have our first real taste of the exhaust note from the Lamborghini Veneno, and it’s just what you’d expect. It’s loud, evil, and brutal. The 6.5-liter V-12 with 750 horsepower spits out a thunderous exhaust note from its centrally-mounted exhaust pipes located between the gigantic diffuser fins. If the exotic design of the Veneno doesn’t grab your attention, the unrestricted, adrenalin-pumping V-12 will surely pound your eardrums to the beat of a monstrous V-12. El Lamborghini Veneno es un exclusivo automóvil deportivo fabricado por Lamborghini. Fue presentado por primera vez en marzo de 2013, durante el Salón del Automóvil de Ginebra. Su diseño está basado en el Lamborghini Aventador, y fue creado en honor a los 50 años de la empresa italiana. Su motor V12 de 6,5 litros posee una potencia de 750 caballos, siendo capaz de alcanzar los 355 km/h. Además del automóvil que fue mostrado en Ginebra, sólo serán producidos otros tres coches de la serie, cada uno de un color diferente, verde, blanco y rojo, representando los colores de la bandera italiana. In the year of its 50th anniversary Automobili Lamborghini is presenting an extremely exclusive model at the Geneva Motor Show 2013. Only three unique units of the Lamborghini Veneno will be built and sold. Its design is consistently focused on optimum aerodynamics and cornering stability, giving the Veneno the real dynamic experience of a racing prototype, yet it is fully homologated for the road. With a maximum output of 552 kW / 750 hp, the Veneno accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and the top speed for this street-legal racing car stands at 355 km/h. It is priced at three million Euros plus tax – and all three units have already been sold to customers. The Lamborghini Veneno features a twelve-cylinder power unit with a displacement of 6.5 liters, an extremely fast-shifting 7-speed ISR transmission with 5 driving modes and permanent all-wheel drive, as well as a racing chassis with pushrod suspension and horizontal spring/damper units. Above all, however, the Veneno benefits from the very special expertise that Automobili Lamborghini possesses in the development and execution of carbon-fiber materials – the complete chassis is produced as a CFRP monocoque, as is the outer skin of this extreme sports car.
