Just wondering, if I've synched all my music to the cloud with Itunes Match from a computer that could really use the extra space can I nuke all the tunes on my computer and only stream to all my devices or do I need to keep at least one copy of my songs on at least one of my devices? Scenario: I have an older Mac Laptop that essentialy only hosts music for me. I also have an iPad, iPhone and my computer at work - all of which stream music with Itunes Match. Can I delete all the music from the older Mac laptop to free up space on the computer or do I need to 1st copy the music to another device? I'm worried that if I delete the songs on my "master" device it will also delete from the cloud. Thanks! ...

Hello. I have been having a weird problem, at first I was putting the blame on my ISP. I was using a Cable Modem and a Router (a Linksys WRT310N) to provide Internet Access to my devices. Also I have a UNIFI AP Pro AccessPoint and a NETGEAR WN2000RPT Wireless Range Extender to provide WIFI Coverage wherever I need. My ISP is from Mexico - CABLEMAS with 20Mbps down/ 1Mbps up. With this setup I started to get some problems while using YouTube (lots of buffering) either by using my computer and Worst of all while using my Smart TV, and the Neo TV MAX. The same happened with Itunes, any download that I made (Movies, Apps, etc...) were downloading at an average of 60KBps per Item (Usually in Itunes you can download a Max of 3 Items at the same time, so it was a total of around 180 KBps and sometimes peaking at 400 KBps (Really slow considering the Bandwidth) Anyway, Like I said, I blamed the ISP until I started doing some tests. First case as described on Wireless, Then on Ethernet directly to the router (Same result), Then unplugging the AccessPoint and turning of the range extender and pulling out all the cables on the router with the exception of one cable for my laptop for tests (And it was the same result) Just for some background... Torrents (Full bandwidth) , Web Surfing, Web Downloads and Online Gaming worked fine. Anyway, the last test I did was to unplug the router and connect my laptop directly to the modem and Voila, Itune ...

So I've had a lot of issues with my Itunes music after I moved from the UK to the US. My Itunes account was UK based and there seems no easy way to fix this, adding to this my wife has a US Itunes account and it seems impossible to merge the two. One always tries to overwrite the other. Added to this we both just got a new SG4 and so Itunes is an issue generally. I do however, also have an ipod nano i use for my car and an ipad I use with airplay for my stereo for a music controller. I'm a little unclear on my options, can I transfer all my Itunes stuff to another format (from both accounts) which I can then add to my phone. Secondly how do I then buy new music, buying via my android will mean I can't get it to my ipod and ipad etc, buying via Itunes means library issues and hoop jumping through whatever solutions I find to issue 1 every time I buy new music. Perhaps I'm better off going with a subscription music app (spoitify etc no idea if they are good bad or ugly) Thoughts and advice welcome on any or all ...

Itunes U makes it easy to download and subscribe to any courses you'd like. While not all courses come with assignments and material, some do. If you decide you'd like to complete assignments or want to download additional material, here's how to find out if any is available in Itunes U and download it directly to iBooks . Launch the Itunes U app from the Home screen of your iPhone or iPad. Tap on the Catalog button in the upper right hand corner. Search for or navigate to the course you'd like to download assignments or additional material for. Just like actual classes are listed, any additional assignments or materials will be listed as well. You can see the different in the icons. Just tap on the Download button in order to download a specific assignment or additional item. Once downloaded, just tap on the Download button one more time and you'll be taken to Safari to view it. You'll have the option to save it directly to iBooks if you'd like. Just tap on the Open in iBooks option that appears across the top under the address bar. That's all there is to it. Unfortunately there isn't a way to save assignments with courses within the Itunes U app but saving them to iBooks is a means to an end and the next best thing. After you've opened the assignments and/or course material within iBooks, it'll be saved there for as long as you like and until you'd like to delete it. ...

I bought my niece an iPod touch 5th Generation for her birthday last month, it is backed up using my computer and iCloud. She put a passcode on it and has forgotten the password and it is now locked.
