The numbers suggest that mobile retailers and other commercial enterprises stand to generate much more income per smartphone owner among Apple customers versus the Android consumer base. IPhone leads Android devices in terms of both total minutes spent on commerce apps and the number of sessions initiated each month. Overall, 67.5 percent of iOS users engage with those apps, compared with just 43.9 percent of Android owners. That data was produced through an Arbitron Mobile U.S. smartphone panel . Mobile marketers should be paying close attention to how commerce is approached on various mobile devices. Although IPhone represents the greatest revenue opportunity, the Android market is nothing to shrug off, especially with recent numbers suggesting that Android phones are selling at a faster rate than their Apple counterpart. ...

This is the third post in a Sisterhood series by Nina Badzin on gadgets, family and work. As I reported last month , I’ve made some progress in cutting my IPhone time in half. I started charging my phone in the kitchen instead of my bedroom, which eliminated any phone use in the early morning and during the last moments of the night. (And by “moments” I mean an hour, which is true for many late-night smartphone abusers.) I increased my IPhone-free time on Shabbat and stopped placing my phone on the table when I’m out with friends or family at restaurants and coffee shops. Progress! Right? Apple is going to integrate IAC 's video site Vimeo and Yahoo 's photo sharing site Flickr into the next version of iOS, the software that runs iPhones and iPads, Mark Gurman of 9 to 5 Mac reports . Gurman says iOS users will be able to upload video straight to Vimeo from their iPhones and iPads, just like they can currently upload straight to YouTube . The same will be true of Flickr. iOS users will be able to quickly upload their photos to Flickr straight from their devices. This is going to be really good for Apple, Yahoo, and iOS users. Yesterday, Yahoo announced a redesign for Flickr , and an increase in storage to 1 terabyte of data. This means that you can pretty much store all of your photos in Flickr. Photos probably take up the most amount of storage on an IPhone . The ability to back them all up on Flickr for free is going to be great for a user. It means you don't have to pay for extra iCloud storage or extra Dropbox storage. This should also breath life into Yahoo's Flickr service. A lot of people will start using Flickr if it can act as an online backup for all of your IPhone photos. Hi, this is what happened to me. i hope you guys would have patience and read what has happened to me.. and please help! thanks in advance! (im not asking about Jailbreaking here so please dont tell me about that in my title) i have an ios 4.2.1 IPhone 4 GSM, unjailbreaked. however, since there are too few apps nowadays that still support 4.2.1, i have decided it's high time to update. When i tried to update, the process went fine, but got stuck near the end, where itunes had a striped bar and said "restoring IPhone firmware..."... seeing that this would go nowhere, i decided to halt the update at this point. My IPhone just went to the activation screen where there is a picture of itunes and a usb below it. I couldnt activate it, probably due to my update which had not completed. i tried to restore again and again, only to fail. I found out after searching the net after that, that snowbreeze already has the jailbreak for IPhone 6.1.3..(i wish i found that sooner :(( ) but since i couldnt restore my IPhone to 6.1.3, might as well settle for tethered 6.1.3 jailbreak by snowbreeze. and to my amazement, the restore using snowbreeze actually worked! (while itunes restore didnt, very weird) all went fine, but to my horror, i found that my bluetooth was 00:00:00:00 and my wi-fi has been greyed out, modem firmware is blank!!! even when my sim card is installed, i have no signal, always searching only. no wifi and no bluetooth as well. no ...
