New photos of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida were released this week, where aerial shots display how far along construction has come for the buildings, including the London facades and shops. Of particular note is the Gringotts entrance, with columns, and London buildings exterior facades, which will soon become King's Cross station, Wyndham's Theatre, and Grimmauld Place. Attractions Magazine released a video showing the expanse of the Hogwarts Express railway, so far built from the entrance at Hogsmeade Station at Islands of Adventure to two-thirds of the way towards Platform Nine and Three-Quarters in London. The railway featured starts as a monorail for one train to enter or exit, and in the middle is split into two tracks, where one Hogwarts Express train will go towards Hogsmeade, and the other to London. I just listened to the discussion of the Harry Potter expansion on today's show. Because I am not a Universal fan, the only time I have visited the area was during DAP a few years back. I loved it because I'm a fan of the books and J.K. Rowling, but it was not something I wound venture off property for more than once. When I was there, I distinctly remember seeing the Hogwarts Express train. Does anyone know what the plan is for that, if it is even still there? I'm assuming it will be removed?? Just curious. ...

When Universal Orlando surprised the world last week by announcing the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley for the Universal Studios Florida theme park, some details remained a mystery. Even in our exclusive interview with executive creative director Thierry Coup , an opening date for the new area could not be narrowed down beyond the vague 2014 timeframe. Moreover, logistics were not yet clear of how guests would have (and pay for) the opportunity to ride the Hogwarts Express train between each half of the Wizarding World, split among two Universal Orlando other parks, each requiring admission. But today Universal Orlando began to survey select fans online, revealing some new information about Diagon Alley and proposing several scenarios for how the Hogwarts Express train system will work. Parkscope first reported on the survey, sharing screenshots of questions asked as Universal begans to work out the details. Opening Date…? Universal Orlando’s online survey flat out states that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley will open in the summer of 2014. If true, that’s certainly a more specific timeframe than just “2014″ as announced last week. God has a real sense of humor. A few weeks ago, I talked about being released from fear. All I can say is that it was true for the moment. Since then I have had to face waves of fear that have risen from inside me. I had to look in what I call the mirror of truth and see through the fears, which have come rising to the surface. Sometimes it has felt like they were going, “so you thought we were gone, guess again. We’re back.” First, I had to work through my fears of anybody doing a healing on me. I had to face the fear that is within me related to “healings.” There was this immense power and clarity that came as I moved through that fear. The healing I had a few weeks ago, was healing and liberating. The other night the same person did another healing session on me and she said the energy was flowing more evenly. Hearing that news was not surprising, after all the first time my body was filled with fear about what might happen, what could happen, how I might respond.God has a real sense of humor. A few more updates and bits of information have been revealed about the upcoming Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley, set to open in Universal Studios Florida sometime in 2014. Universal Creative senior vice president Thierry Coup spoke to more press outlets about a few rumours surfacing regarding shops and experiences in Diagon Alley and the Hogwarts Express, more than what was revealed on Wednesday. First off, local Orlando television station CF News 13 recorded a 10-minute aerial view of the new expansion to the Wizarding World, including the mostly-constructed railway track for the Hogwarts Express behind the lots of both parks, Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida. The video also displays the entrance to Gringotts bank in mid-construction, as well as a variety of other shops and exterior areas set as the entrance to the new park - including what are rumoured to be King's Cross, Wyndham's Theatre, and Grimmauld Place. After the initial announcement of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley on Wednesday morning, local Orlando press spoke to some of the Universal reps about what's the come for the new expansion of the Harry Potter world at Universal Orlando Resorts. Various Orlando print and television media were invited to Universal on Wednesday for the announcement, and got the chance to speak to Thierry Coup, Universal Creative Senior Vice President. Coup was the head coordinator and producer for the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride at Hogwarts Castle at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade in Islands of Adventure in Orlando. The original announcement only confirmed the Gringotts attraction as the headline for the new area, and Coup was vague in confirming the long-standing rumours that the main restaurant at the park will be the Leaky Cauldron, and what the Hogwarts Express ride has in store for fans.
