Although the bulk of excitement over Sony’s exclusive franchises has been focused on the slate of games for the upcoming PlayStation 4 , racing fans still have one game on the PS3 to look forward to: Gran Turismo 6 . After being announced just last week, Polyphony Digital ‘s next entry in the ‘real driving simulator’ series will mark the franchise’s last on the current generation of consoles. Luckily, new concept video of GT6 has appeared online; while it’s no surprise to see the visuals are still leading edge for the hardware, it’s good to know the developers are pushing the PS3 to its limits . Gran Turismo’s logo was prominent around the Nurburgring this weekend at the 24 Hour race, and Polyphony Digital surprised viewers of the race’s live broadcast by showing off what appears to be the first-ever video of the Nordschleife Gran Turismo 6 . The videos show Kazunori’s Schulze Motorsport N24 GT-R pursuing a Bilstein Audi R8 LMS around various sections of the famous circuit. On the Silverstone circuit, Sony celebrated the 15th anniversary of Gran Tourismo and with this opportunity the company also announced the newest title of the popular franchise: Gran Turismo 6. The Gran Turismo 6 game is being developed by the same developers, Kazunori Yamauchi and his team from Polyphone Digital and it will be developed for the PlayStation 3 gaming console. Unlike it’s predecessor, Gran Turismo 6 will come with a new graphic engine, optimized for the PlayStation 3 gaming console as well as with a new physical engine. The number of vehicles included in the game was always impressive about this game and the tradition will continue with the new title. So, it seems that Gran Turismo 6 will come with more than 1200 licensed vehicles. Gran Turismo 6 allows you to customize these vehicles by using thousands of auto parts. Gran Turismo 6 will also come with 33 circuits and 71 variations. With additional DLC packages you will get more circuits and vehicles. Also, Gran Turismo 6 will come with an improved circuit generator. The online component plays an important role in Gran Turismo 6. The game will allow you to create and manage online clubs, and you can create events for your members. Uno de los juegos de conducción más esperados de los últimos tiempos es el Gran Turismo y todos los adictos a este título ya pueden estar tranquilos porque desde Sony han anunciado la sexta edición de Gran Turismo 6 y llegará a finales del presente año. Fresh track footage of Gran Turismo 6 has emerged, showing some of the more than 1,200 cars gamers will get to choose between, and hinting at the sort of graphics PlayStation 3 users could look forward to. The new video, which also includes some of the new tracks, shows more than three minutes of concept footage ahead of the hotly-anticipated racing title. GT6 was given the official nod earlier this month , the most ambitious of the Gran Turismo series so far. The game will include 33 different locations, seven of which are new; there will be 71 different layouts to choose between, of which 19 are new. On top of that, racers will be able to modify and customize their favorite cars using in-game accessories and upgrades. Sony hasn’t given specifics, but there are said to be “thousands” of possible add-ons to choose between. The new cars will include Alfa Romeo’s TZ3 Stradale ’11, the classic 1971 Ferrari Dino 246 GT, the pared-back KTM X-BOW R ’12, and Mercedes’ SLS AMG GT3 from 2011. Geek-favorite Tesla will also feature, with the new Model S Signature Performance (though not the Performance Plus version) also making its debut. As for how those cars will drive – virtually speaking – Sony is particularly excited about its new suspension and kinematics model. Who wouldn’t like to stare at a few minutes of concept footage for the sixth banner entry in a long celebrated realistic racing series first thing in the morning? That’s what I’m doing. All Games Beta has pinned down just over three minutes worth of video for the upcoming Gran Turismo 6 . If this is what the brand new GT looks like in motion, well, color me excited. More than a few moments in this video should be categorized under “stunning” in my book. Of course, as of now, Gran Turismo 6 is set to release for the PlayStation 3, not the PlayStation 4. Bmw unveiled this weekend the facelifted 5-Series and as seen before in the leaked photos, the biggest-selling 5-Series ever comes with redesigned front bumpers, new headlights, redesigned tail lights and a new range of alloy wheels. Also new in the 2014 5-Series are the BMW Luxury Line and BMW Modern Line packages containing exclusive design and equipment features. And an M Sport package tailored to each model variant can also be specified.The most important addition is the arrival of the 518d, a model powered by a 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine used also on the 520d. On the 518d, the turbodiesel engine was detuned to deliver 143 hp. The new engine is available on both the new 5-Series sedan and touring. According to Bmw, the new engine is capable to deliver a fuel consumption of just 4.5 litres per 100 km (62.8 mpg imp) and CO2 emissions of just 119 grams per kilometer. Moreover, the 5-Series model range includes the 520d xDrive in both Sedan and Touring guises. The top-of-the-line engine available on the 2014 5-Series is the new V8 with Bmw TwinPower Turbo technology developing 450 hp. Customers who are opting for the new 5-Series Gran Turismo can choose from two petrol power plants and three diesels.
