Trace Adkins may have another hit on his hands. Trace Adkins is probably a little frustrated with how the last few years have gone at least in terms of his singles. It’s a different landscape in the music business today, but the fact remains that hits produce success just as they always have. The one thing Toby Keith’s record label has struggled with is getting hits for other artists other than Keith himself. Trace has had a few good hits and now he’s looking for another one. There is little buzz around this record, but maybe Trace is looking for the slow build this time. A hit song would certainly boost buzz and sales. Trace is one of the all time greats. He’s seeing how things are going and he knows that someday the world will End even if it’s just for his own life. 'Putting a camera in Brian's hands does very little extra for the film and switching between that and 'normal' modes of directing doesn't make a whole load of sense.' David Ayer may have been the writer behind Training Day , giving his latest directorial offering, End Of Watch , a great deal of positive heritage, but he is also the writer of S.W.A.T and the director of Street Kings , neither of which are hugely successful cop dramas. Which Ayer, the obvious questions runs, is going to show up in his latest? The answer is, inevitably, a touch of both personas although, happily, the Training Day side is on top for the most part. End Of Watch is a strangely modern affair, with the central conceit being that Brian (Jake Gyllenhaal) is absolutely stacked with technology in a bid to film his life as an L.A. cop. Alongside this sits Ayers' sometime-absent fondness for gritty realism. Occasionally the two jar off each other (whenever the Latino gang members, or anyone who conveniently happens to be filming themselves, show up) but most of the time this is a fairly happy marriage. That statement though ignores the obvious weirdness you have to deal with when being faced with a character constantly filming themselves, then stopping and another camera beyond the fourth wall taking over. The World’s End will soon be unleashed in cinemas worldwide and luckily the film’s first trailer has arrived for your viewing pleasure! The World’s End is set 20 years after an unsuccessful attempt at a legendary pub crawl by five childhood friends. Determined to finish what they started, Gary King (Simon Pegg) rouses his friends and convinces them to return to their hometown to reach the much-fabled pub, The World’s End. The further they venture, the more they realise that The World’s End is an all-too-fitting name for their destination. Coming in at just under two minutes, the first trailer is in essence a short reminder of why British comedy (and British cinema) has still got shedloads to offer. First came Shaun of the Dead in 2004. Then came Hot Fuzz in 2007. And soon, The World's End shall arrive. But before that happens later this summer, the very first trailer for the movie has been released, and is calling to you with songs of promised joy and laughter. None of the movies are actually related, but they all belong to the Blood and Ice Cream trilogy (also known as the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy)---a trio of movies from Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Ant Man director Edgar Wright that all star Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as the leads, and all involve a little bit of blood and a little bit of ice cream. Each movie uses a specific flavor of Cornetto ice cream that fits the movie: Shaun of the Dead using a red strawberry flavor for blood and such (you've got red on you); Hot Fuzz using the original (blue) Cornetto for the police; and The World's End will use the mint chocolate chip flavor, possibly signifying aliens or some kind of invasion or perhaps the result of far too much drinking.
