I don’t watch T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle anymore, but I’m sure there was an episode that showed them making the music video for “Hello” . I say that because T.I. ‘s wife Tiny and his 30 kids are all in the video so I’m sure there’s a story here I’m not getting. You can’t hate on a man with his family though (You can but I’m not). T.I. gets lost in the desert in his "Hello" video. T.I. is becoming quite the actor! OK, yeah, he's appeared in actual films like "Identity Thief" and "Takers," but we're starting to think that maybe his taste for movie star roles has snuck into his music. That seems to be the case in his new video, "Hello," from his latest album, Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head . With a little help from Cee Lo Green on vocals, T.I. wakes up in the clip dusty and musty on a dirt-side road, trying to piece together what brought him there in the first place. Ugh, been there Tip. If we had a nickel for every time we woke up in a ditch, we'd have... you know what? Not important. Watch T.I. featuring Cee Lo Green's "Hello" video after the jump. Directed by Marc Klasfeld, "Hello" opens with narration by T.I. while a camera zooms dramatically over an arid, country landscape. Waking up with his nice hat all bent and dirty, T.I. looks around and tries to figure out where he is and how he got there. (Wait... this isn't another trailer for "The Hangover III," right?) Fortunately, "Hello" flashes back to what actually happened to Tip -- apparently this "lost in the desert" situation includes fun with face paint, a stolen car, and WAY too much moonshine. Pharrell dialed into smooth ’70s disco with Daft Punk on two Random Access Memories tracks, “ Get Lucky” and “Lose Yourself to Dance.” But for his new solo track, “Happy,” Mr. Williams digs back a little bit further, to the ’60s. The result is a soulful, catchy little jaunt reminiscent of Cee Lo Green ‘s recent work – all handclaps and singalongs and retro pop simplicity. “Happy” is off the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack, which Pharrell co-produced with composer Heitor Pereira (Pharrell also helmed the music for the first film).
