If you’ve visited Game Rant at all today, you’ve probably noticed a lot of talk about Microsoft’s next-generation console, the Xbox One , which was unveiled today amidst a slew of titles being officially announced for the new platform, including Forza Motorsport 5 and Battlefield 4 . The response from both gamers and critics has been mixed, since while the console boasts some impressive new technology and won’t necessarily be always-online, it also won’t be backwards-compatible . That aside, one of the major factors that will influence the console’s launch is the lineup of games that will be released on the platform over the next year. Following the reveal of Microsoft's Xbox One, Ubisoft has issued a press release confirming that two of the year's biggest titles are headed to the next Xbox. Highly anticipated new IP Watch Dogs , and the next game in the Assassin's Creed series, Black Flag , will both grace Xbox One alongside the PlayStation 4. In the release, Ubisoft's CEO, Yves Guillemot, confirmed the two titles for Xbox One, and other next gen titles were also revealed to be in the works for the new Xbox. "The next generation of consoles will reinvigorate our industry and make it possible for us to deliver incredible new entertainment to gamers," Guillemot said in the release. "Our teams are using the innovations in connectivity, immersion and social gaming included in Xbox One to create original and memorable next-gen gaming experiences." The other titles will be a mix of 'new episodes of existing franchises, new IPs and digital titles' says the release, and it also states that the titles will all release within the first 12 months of the console's lifespan. In news that shouldn’t surprise anyone, Ubisoft has announced that both Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag will be appearing on the Xbox One, which was revealed earlier today . The studio went on to say that the aforementioned titles are just two of at least six next-gen games that will be appearing on Microsoft’s new console in its first year. “The next generation of consoles will reinvigorate our industry and make it possible for us to deliver incredible new entertainment to gamers,” said Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot. “Our teams are using the innovations in connectivity, immersion and social gaming included in Xbox One to create original and memorable next-gen gaming experiences.” So again, this isn’t too surprising but it’s still nice to hear. Both titles look great and I intend on picking them up once they’re released. Personally, I’ve found that the Assassin’s Creed series has gone a bit stale in recent years but I do like what I’m seeing from Black Flag so far. As for Watch Dogs , that’s a game that I think looks really interesting and I’m very excited to see if it’s going to live up to the considerable amount of hype surrounding it. With Watch Dogs , Asssassin’s Creed IV Black Flag and many more titles confirmed to be making an appearance on the next generation of consoles, it looks like we’ll be in for quite a treat once Microsoft and Sony launch their upcoming offerings. Those who pre-order on Amazon will net the Hidden Mystery Pack that features Mystery Island as a new area, the Gentleman Pirate’s ship for additional side quests and an additional outfit. Then there’s the Lost Treasure Pack for those who pre-order from Best Buy, which features an Ivory Wheel, Spyglass Relic, custom ships for multiplayer and much more. It’s also the only pack available for PS4 and Wii U, along with the PS3 and Xbox 360. Finally, those who pre-order from GameStop can avail of the Black Island ship and gun, along with a costume skin and a limited edition poster. I am trying to put this costume together for my local convention that will be held in Galveston TX. For those of you who are not familiar with the Assassins Creed Franchise this person is the new lead character for the latest installment in the game series. The latest game centers around pirates. So what better venue to debut a pirate cosplay than at a convention held across from the beach! So I am looking for any and all help with resources, reference photos, existing tutorials for parts that I can use (hidden blade etc..). I am having a particularly hard time with the boots. Anyone who has done pirate costumes in the past if you know of a good source for boots that match the ones in these pictures as closely as possible that doesn't break the bank. I provided what reference photos I could find below. I also have a opinion question about the harness/vest he is wearing. Does it look like leather or some sort of suede cause it doesn't look like typical leather to me. Any leather alternative suggestions will be greatly appreciated as well. Attached Thumbnails ...

Today, in the night of May 15th, our group received news from Catalan comrades that the National High Court has delivered several detention warrants, 5 in total. However, while this communiqué is being written, only one is confirmed. The mass media, for its part, has been spreading half truths, non-corroborated information, and different forms of criminalization. Nothing new so far. Since the name of our group (and the link to our blog) has been extensively spread by mass media and in social networks (where even our seal and graphic allusions to our group have been used), we want to clarify that the Black Flag Group from Madrid, affiliated to the FIJL (Iberian Federation of Libertarian Youth), due to several geographical reasons, has nothing to do with the news of the kidnappings in the morning of Wednesday, May 15th, 2013, that allegedly took place in Sabadell.
