BATMAN and Joker are two sides of the same crazy coin, according to some comics in the Dark Knight’s 74-year history. The thinking goes that you have to be insane to do what each character does and that their unique relationship binds them in a symbiotic way. So it makes a weird bit of sense that the same guy is going to be playing both characters, albeit in a different medium. Troy Baker—the voice actor who’s probably best known for being Vincent in Catherine and Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite —isn’t just doing the voice of the Joker in the BATMAN: Arkham Origins video game. He’ll also be doing the voice of BATMAN in LEGO BATMAN: The Movie – DC Super Heroes Unite , the upcoming movie that parallels last year’s Bruce Wayne + everybody else video game. There’s no footage yet of Baker’s portrayal of the Joker but you can listen to how he voices BATMAN in these LEGO BATMAN clips Baker’s no stranger to playing other Bat-universe characters, either . Not only did he play Two-Face in BATMAN: Arkham City , but he also played Robin in that game’s Harley Quinn's Revenge DLC, too. Now, I mistakenly assumed that meant he was back voicing the Dark Knight himself. Looks like I was wrong. Kevin is working on the game, but the capacity is unknown as Roger Craig Smith is going to provide the voice for BATMAN, as reported by Superhero Hype . At least Kevin's working on the game in some capacity. but we are getting a new voice for young Bruce Wayne. The trailer today is pretty cool and I'm still looking forward to the game. I'm not as hung up on the original voice as some folks, as I just want a solid game. ...

A leaked pre-order image tipped us off yesterday and the press release past the break confirms it: Deathstroke is a playable character in BATMAN Arkham Origins . He'll be unlocked in the game's challenge mode, and all who plunk down cash early will enjoy some exclusive maps and character skins associated with him. Deathstroke is seemingly a leading man in the video game world now, with BATMAN: Arkham Origins his second role of the year after Injustice: Gods Among Us in April. F or those of you who played BATMAN: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City might remember that each game had a decent amount of downloadable content. BATMAN: Arkham Origin will follow the same path and be no different when it comes to downloadable content compared to the last two games in the franchise. Eric Holmes is a Creative Director for BATMAN: Arkham Origins and recently he had an interview with Game Informer regarding the game’s DLC plans. (Source – GameInformer - Thanks. ) Here is what he said in the interview: “I think the challenge with DLC is finding something worth saying that you didn’t say in the main game, something that adds to the story or universe. Without giving too much away, I think the DC Universe is a very expansive and exciting place and we’re spoiled for choice as far as opportunities.” “I think it’s important when you’re building any game in any franchise to try and give yourself creative room and not say everything in the main product. One of the terms we used before was leaving a USB port on the side so something else can plug in and go somewhere else, or carving out a little hole that you can answer. If you have a narrative disconnect in your story, it doesn’t necessarily mean it is a mistake. ‘Well where did that character go when he went off and did that?
