Coral Jones and husband Paul say their five-year-old daughter’s killer, Mark Bridger, was obsessed with web images.They want David Cameron to get involved in the fight against child abuse online. ‘April was a fighter from the word go and I promised her I’ll do this for her,’ said Mrs Jones. ‘I’ll help other children, so their family don’t have to go through this, their brothers and sisters. ‘I just want it stopped and the government should put more pressure on and get it done now,’ she told Channel 5 News. ‘I’m going to do April’s internet fight so everyone else can help as well. If they see something they don’t think is right, contact the police, so that person can help themselves before it goes too far and someone else is killed or abused.’ Her comments came after senior figures from Google, Microsoft and BT were summoned to parliament to meet culture secretary Maria Miller. The service providers have agreed to introduce ‘splash pages’ telling users the images they are trying to view are illegal. BT, Sky, TalkTalk and Virgin Media will pay an extra £1million for the Internet Watch Foundation to help it work with the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre to trace and remove child porn. During his trial the Old Bailey heard that he had used his computer to search for terms including "violent forced rape" and "incest". Bridger, like Hazell, had no previous convictions for sexual offences. Both went from viewing indecent images straight to the worst class of offending. The warning comes as the schoolgirl’s parents revealed they believe killer paedophile Mark Bridger will never reveal where their daughter’s body is. Former slaughterhouse worker Bridger was jailed for life without parole yesterday after being found guilty of the murder and abduction of April on October 12 last year. He was condemned by a judge as a cruel and calculating pervert who killed the five-year-old to live out a sexual fantasy after downloading and viewing obscene images of children online. The case adds to growing evidence of a link between child porn and committing other serious sexual assaults, Phillip Noyes, NSPCC acting chief executive, said. Earlier this month, Stuart Hazell was jailed for 38 years for the murder of 12-year-old Tia Sharp having searched for child porn online.
