Glamour 's second-ever "These Girls" event, which benefits the Urban Arts Partnership, brought out plenty of funny ladies to take the stage at Joe's Pub in NYC last night. Amy Poehler was accompanied by Emma Roberts, Alexa Chung, Dianna Agron , Girls star Zosia Mamet, and more to share both inspiring and hilarious stories ranging from sex and awkwardness to the hardships of growing up. Emma, who departed the event in the company of her boyfriend, Evan Peters, hit the stage to address her attempt to ditch Hollywood in pursuit of normal college life , revealing, "I was so busy pretending to experience everything [on screen], I forgot to experience real life." Seth Meyers will be taking over for Jimmy Fallon as host of “ Late Night ” in 2014 and he hopes his first guest will be his former “ Saturday Night Live ” costar, Amy Poehler . Meyers says his reasoning is that his friend is not likely to turn him down. “If that can’t happen then we’ll have real trouble getting guests,” he told TV Guide. by Bill Pearis Fred Armisen & friends / Stefon & Seth / Kanye & Ben on SNL Even without Kanye 's musical appearance , last night's Ben Afleck hosted Saturday Night Live season finale was especially eventful (and teary) as it was the final show for three long-running star players: Bill Hader, Fred Armisen and Jason Sudekis . Fred got his farewell moment via a sketch featuring his punk character Ian Rubbish who performed song called "It's Gonna Be a Lovely Day." His band featured fellow departing castmembers Hader and Sudekis (and Taran Killam , sure to be a big player next season), and then he welcomed a cavalcade of musical talent onstage, including his Portlandia costar Carrie Brownstein, Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon , Dinosaur Jr.'s J Mascis , Aimee Mann , Michael Penn , and the Sex Pistols' Steve Jones . With a chorus of "It's been alright, I've had a lovely night," it was a nice little sendoff. Video of that is below. Hader got his sendoff moment, as expected, as Weekend Update nightlife correstondent Stefon , where anchor -- and soon to be Late Night host -- Seth Meyers finally gives in to his advances. "Weekend Update" also featured a surprise appearance by former co-anchor Amy Poehler who came out for "REALLY??" and stuck around to read the news. While Ben Affleck’s apparent fight to hold back tears dominated conversation in the first half of Saturday’s “Saturday Night Live,” by the time Weekend Update came, fan focus was redirected to more overly-emotional moments. With Bill Hader certainly leaving at the end of this season, Seth Meyers departing next winter for “Late Night” and Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis also reportedly close to departure, “SNL” was sure to incorporate goodbyes into its season finale. And given the success of the character, if Hader was going to say goodbye, so too was Stefon. Hader reprised his New York City correspondent for one last Weekend Update, which featured a guest appearance from former anchor Amy Poehler. After opening with his usual dose of humor, Stefon ran off–we soon learned to marry Anderson Cooper. With his back against the wall, “Weekend Update” host had to finally acknowledge his feelings for Stefon and confront Cooper in the process. In a later segment, Jason Sudeikis, Bill Hader and Taran Killam joined Fred Armisen to reprise Ian Rubbish and the Blizzards for one final performance of “It’s a Lovely Day.” Certainly a goodbye moment for Armisen, the epic segment featured guest appearances from his “Portlandia” co-star Carrie Brownstein and musicians J Mascis, Kim Gordon, Aimee Mann, Michael Penn and Steve Jones.
