AZEALIA BANKS has announced that her new single with feature Pharrell Williams. The track will be the second to be taken from Bank’s delayed forthcoming debut album ‘Broke With Expensive Taste’ which was originally due out in 2012. Announcing the news on Twitter, she wrote: “Single #2 is called “ATM JAM” and it’s featuring ?@Pharrell ! !” Earlier this month, the rapper unveiled the intense video for her new single ‘Yung Rapunxel’. The promo, which was directed by Jam Sutton, features owls, mouths for eyes, riot police and a mechanical bull ‘ watch it below. Last month BANKS wished death upon The Stone Roses, claiming they deliberately sabotaged her set at the Future Music Festival in Australia. Both acts were on the bill and BANKS claimed the Manchester band loudly soundchecked behind her stage as an act of revenge for a friend. “Big apologies on behalf of the stone roses to my fans at the festival today,” she wrote on Twitter. “My ex tour manager made a pact with the stone roses saying they’d sabotage my set because I fired him and they decided to check their equipment behind me during my set.” She then fired off a series of angry messages aimed at the band, including one which read: “Fuck those old saggy white niggas stone roses. Each week in Sample Wars , we’ll pit two songs which sample the same source material head-to-head against each other, to determine which one rocked the sample better. This week’s Sample Wars pits two generations of NYC-bred rappers against each other: Jay-Z and AZEALIA BANKS. Following a tweet from Marina And The Diamonds (Marina Diamandis) last Friday that read, “All your personality goes on Twitter. IRL you have nothing left to give”, female rapper AZEALIA BANKS hit back under the premise that it was aimed at her. Not one to hold back, BANKS tweeted in response, “Lol I see this one thirsty singer from the UK sub-tweet about me all the time. She better shut up before I steal her look & sound.” She then went even further to say “B*tches think they’re clever and rude, but trust me, I’m ruder. I can’t stand a scared b*tch.” Diamandis has not made any further tweets on the topic. This is not the first time BANKS has used twitter to start feuds with other celebrities.
