So, I played hide-and-seek yesterday. No, not the kind where you spend any number of minutes / days / aeons trying to find your car keys / sunglasses / mind / painkillers due the headache induced by any / all of the aforementioned. By early Sunday afternoon the procrastination skin had finally been shed and I settled down to some serious work. Of course, this almost immediately resulted in an unexpected, and not particularly welcome at first it has to be said, visit by a whirlwind of a family with two littlies who love playing the childhood game. And, being that they were playing in my home, it was taken as given that I would assist with the hiding part. Thus I spent the afternoon stuffing a three-year-old into laundry baskets and hanging a six-year-old from towel rails. Anyway. Late yesterday sometime, it was noticed by the more observant (or plain bored) that this little blog had been wiped clean. There are a number of reasons, all irrelevant, all boring; although for the very curious, paragraph two may give a slight clue as to at least one of them. That said. (Who says I'm predictable?) I decided to host a mini-competition, with an actual prize , in the next day or so, deadlines and inclination of this very fickle little pebble depending, and felt a clean slate would be a good way to start.
