these have all been added to my garden...in less than 24 hours. i've lost my mind. no truly... i went out yesterday to pick up one plant. one. i was suppose to just be picking up the cantaloupe we forgot. at home depot...i ended up with: 1. cantaloupe 2. some random variety of beans 3. butternut squash 4. thompson seedless grapes after getting these...i told the kids..."isn't there a nursery on sunnymead" as if they knew. "let's go check it out." oh my holy land! i could of fell out right there on the gravel paths meandering through the large nursery (that seems so small and unassuming from the busy street). no i'm not kidding. i could of laid my hot, hungry self right out in the middle of their gravel laden paths. i was instantly greeted by the nicest young guy...and upon asking if they had veggies and "stuff" and taking advantage of his friendliness with hordes of questions he smiled and lead me to their organic veggie/fruit/herb garden. holy baby jesus! i needed a moment...and i told him that, after asking if i could hug him. this garden...small and compact and filled to the brim...in every square 1/4" of space was busting at the seams with every darn veggie and fruit i could conjure up! i started testing him...you don't got...beans...right there. what about corn...in the back...strawberries...along the ground in front...and then i started noticing things...artichokes, grapes...cabbage...well i noticed the cabbage right away. i ain't ...
