| I bought NCAA FB 07 for the 360 and it was nice to see NCAA FB in high def but I have to say it was a stripped down version of the PS2/X-Box versions. Since this was the first NCAA FB on the 360 and that I got that game for just $30 from Wal-Mart at the time, I gave that game a pass. When NCAA FB 08 came out, it didn't feel that much different from NCAA FB 07 and I wasted the full $60.00 on that game.
The reason why I felt that way was that I strongly believe that any football game should allow you to customize your playbooks and to me, that really set it apart from Madden and since you had every formation that was squeezed into the X-Box/PS2 NCAA FB version, there was no limit in what you could do with your team. I decided to just buy an used X-Box for $60.00 and I will get NCAA FB 08 or any other past NCAA FB versions because I really loved the customizable playbook feature. I haven't followed Madden in a long time but I heard that the older PS2 and X-Box has this ... |
