Being possible (and profitable) or not, one of the first platform that seems ready to go was KVM. Now also Xen embraces the portable architectures. At the end of the annual XenSummit, Samsung officially announced a port of the open source hypervisor to the ARM hardware. The involvement of Samsung is a major sign of interest from the mobile industry, and the choice to start the porting from ARM a remarkable thing considering the huge diffusion of this processor.
