The winds will pick up and the heat and humidity will build ahead of a storm system that could bring rain to Oklahoma. The National Weather Service said storms may drift into northern sections of the state Wednesday night as a cold front arrives in Kansas. More storms are possible on Thursday in that region of the state as the boundary pushes in and development may occur farther south overnight and early Friday.
