That's what I wrote in today's newspaper , after watching the Mets suffer their third loss in four games to the pathetic Nationals.
It was a game in which the Mets made two critical base-running errors, Willie Randolph responded to boos by staring fans down (!) and, finally, Billy Wagner criticized unnamed teammates (aka Carlos Delgado) for disappearing in bad times.
Yikes.
This is a mess, Willie's mess.
And he won't have much time to clean it up.
