Why does upgrading Miranda delete my history (Vista)

I've just upgraded from 0.7.5 to 0.7.6 on Vista using the installer that I downloaded when Miranda prompted me to upgrade. After installing it, I've lost about 8 months of chat history on my contacts. Why? It didn't happen when I went from 0.7.4 to 0.7.5, and I upgraded in the exact same way. ...
