Weapons should not be openly permitted or carried in national parks. If they were openly carried and accessible, I can only imagine the resulting animal carnage in Yellowstone, for example, where urban dwellers would likely shoot a grizzly, moose, wolf or bison because the animal reacted naturally to their encroachment. ...
