Upper Crust 72, Prime Time 49 Upper Crust continued its Patriots-like dominance of the Watertown Recreation Department’s Men’s Summer Basketball League with its 23-point margin of victory over Prime Time Sports. The 72-49 win propels them to 10-1 on the season, becoming the first team in the league to reach the double-digit win total. Against Prime Time on Tuesday night, Upper Crust was lights out from long distance, hitting six of their first eight baskets for three points. It was not before long that Watson started to rack up the points, hitting three consecutive treys in the first half of the game, for halftime total of 11 points — the most on the team in the half. He would go on to finish the game as the team’s leading scorer with 21 points, including draining two additional threes. Fellow starter Screen complemented the leading scorer well with seven points in the first half of the contest as well as dropping one of the six treys in the beginning of the ballgame. He went on to finish the night netting nine points in the second while being the best player from the charity stripe for either team (3-for-6 on the evening). But Upper Crust did not lose a step when it brought some fresh legs.
